So as folks are probably reading around the ‘net, assortments of Wave 13 are shipping as we speak.  Woo hoo!  🙂

I don’t think I’ve been this excited to get new toys in a long, looong time.  But not only are pre-orders being prepped and shipped, but this wave is in stock and ready to buy at a couple of places, too.  Check it:

Resolute WINS.

That’s it.  End of story.  I’ve found the Joe line I’ve been waiting for since the 90’s, only I never knew it until now.

Ever since I saw that three minute “sizzle” at the Joe Convention last year, I’ve been infatuated with the concept of Resolute and the execution of the series, but have always been curious as to whether or not the toys could live up to the hype.  Well, HissTank forum member “art2614″ has put aside all of my fears.  Basque in the wonder.

It Begins!

So last week we got a little peek at the Resolute “Pilot Destro” that’s coming out in upcoming Comic Packs.  Well, today, once again, HissTank has another new Resolute figure.  Granted it’s a tiny glimpse, but for the first time we see Resolute COBRA Commander here.

Of course I have my thoughts on this.

First look at Resolute figures – fer reals, this time

The venerable HissTank.com has once again come up with pics of soon-to-be-released toys.  I’m not normally one to horde news over on this site, but when it comes to Resolute, I’m so unashamedly in love with it already I gotta revel in every little tidbit!

Anyway, the aforementioned HissTank has posted pics of two new Comic Packs, Shockblast vs. Destro and Storm Shadow vs. Tunnel Rat.  While plenty of folks will go “ga ga” over Shockblast and Tunnel Rat (with decent reason, they both look pretty awesome), I’m all about that Destro!  Quite possibly the first real look at a Resolute figure, he’s got some great sculpting on those baggy pants and a very unique look.  It’s gotten me even more excited to see these figures hit!

Rumor has it that Big Bad Toy Store is getting their shipment in possibly as early as this week.  I’ll believe it when I see it, but I’m REALLY looking forward to seeing it!

After a very quiet year 21st Century has finally unveiled their long-awaited
German 88mm Flak in 1:18 scale.  This incredibly detailed model of the FlaK
36 88mm Gun is magnificent 14 inches in length and stands well over a foot
tall.  The gun both elevates and traverses, the two side cruciform legs fold
for transport configuration and the carriages detach from the gun base. For
adult collectors only.
