GeneralsJoes Reviews Discount Store “Running Change” Snake Eyes

I remember like it was yesterday… the frantic post-G.I. Joe: Retaliation meltdown where everyone was convinced G.I. Joe was dead, the Dollar General exclusives were getting recalled, truly Deth of teh line!11!  Here we are a little less than a year later with a good chunk of pretty cool product to look forward to.  Included in that product is the “running change” versions of the aforementioned Dollar General figures.  So far being spotted in places like Marshall’s and TJ Maxx, these figures promise to be a bit more available than the previous ones.

I was able to get my hands on Snake Eyes, and you can either check out the review on my 30th Anniversary Review Page or the direct link below.

GeneralsJoes goes back in time and reviews pre-production City Strike Scarlett

First and foremost, big thanks to Glumby who so kindly gave me access to this very rare and highly sought after pre-production piece!  As we all know there isn’t enough G.I. Joe: Retaliation product for me to push forward on these daily reviews for the next 24 days, so I’m getting a little creative here.

Initially I had asked for the figure so I could do a comparison shot for my FSS Jinx review, but since I had it…  again, thanks to Glumby for the assist!

You can check out the review in my Pursuit of Cobra Review Page (in the “pre-production section) or at the direct link below:

GeneralsJoes reviews G.I. Joe: Retaliation Cobra Invasion Trooper

The Road to Retaliation marches on!  Single packs are all caught up, and with this review I’m now all caught up on the 3 Packs as well.  So, what comes next?  I guess I’ll leave that as a little surprise.

New role play item at Toys R Us trains you in the ways of Battle Kata!

Someone correct us if we’re wrong, but Twitziller pointed out this role play item at ToysRUs.com and I think it’s totally new.  At least I don’t remember seeing it before.  It looks like a kids’ version of Roadblock’s now infamous Battle Kata weapons vest.  Allowing the wearer to store their role play weapons in the various pouches and be ready to kick some Cobra ass!

Check it out for $24.99 and take a peek at the images below.

GeneralsJoes Reviews G.I. Joe: Retaliation “Cobra Invasion” Storm Shadow

So, here’s another Storm Shadow.  My first Storm Shadow since the infamous “one star” event from a week or so ago.  Will this one fare any better?  Would I really run another potential bad review to round off our work week?  You’ll have to check out my G.I. Joe: Retaliation Page or just hit the link below.

And if that review depresses you, don’t forget, I already reviewed the “Cobra Invasion” Firefly a couple of months ago!  That ones a lot happier.

Keep your eyes on those mailboxes… FSS Series 3 has landed!

It’s a G.I. Joe flood!  We’re getting pretty steady G.I. Joe: Retaliation product at retail, the Kre-O figures seem to be taking Toys “R” Us by storm, and now the G.I. Joe Collectors Club has sent out the third series of their Figure Subscription Service figures!

A few folks have reported receiving them already, and I will refrain from spoiling the contents here.  I’m hoping to get reviews done in time for the “Road to Retaliation” event over the next 30 days, so prepare yourselves.
