Cmderinchief has been pretty busy lately, and he comes through again, this time with pictures of a mysterious upcoming Snow Job repaint as well as the Target Exclusive COBRA Eel that’s slated to come with a repaint of the Spy Troops Wave Crusher. He’s posted the original threads on JBL here and here.
The Snow Job is a really nice homage to the ’97 version, I think, and at least some sort of variation of the figure is slated to come with the upcoming Rockslide. Check out the galleries below.

I think all of us remember the pictures of the cool, though somewhat strange looking helicopter that appeared to be coming with Wild Bill floating around various overseas auction sites not too long ago. Rumored to be a new Dragonfly, there was no real cooberating evidence or information along with it.
Well, HissTank.com forum members SirVinic and SNAKE EYES have stumbled upon a listing on KMart.com that seems to match up with this item, listing it as the “G.I. Joe Dragonhawk with Wild Bill”. However, the image with the listing shows the COBRA Gunship. However, at the time of this news posting, it would appear that this item has been removed from KMart’s website.
Along with the news of the Dragonhawk, samsallspark, a forum member of the Terror Drome is reporting that a mysterious quartet of figures are being referred to as “KMart Exclusives”, and part of a 4-Pack. Those figures include a Duke, Heavy Duty, MARS Trooper, and Neo-Viper. Click here to check out that story, and check out the figures below. Cmderinchief from the Coil Club and JoeBattleLines has come through with a ton of new pictures of some upcoming Rise of COBRA items…we’ve seen them all before, but these new images shed some nice new light on the figure details.
Grand Slam – Apparently an upcoming Target Exclusive, which comes with an Air Assault Glider repaint first released during Spy Troops, Grand Slam comes with mostly Flash/Grand Slam parts, but with the new Steeler/Clutch lower legs (which the upcoming Zap also sports), the Ace head, and the HISS Driver belt. Frostbite – A repaint/minor kitbash from Arctic Snake Eyes and Beachhead’s head sculpt, this somewhat bland figure looks to come with the Ice Dagger, which is a blue repaint of the awesome Valor Vs. Venom Ice Saber. Gary’s thoughts can be read here.

General Hawk – The figure slated to come with the Pit playset looks to be a fairly accurate version of Quaid’s G.I. Joe leader from the film, and it’s sort of a shame that the only place he’ll be found is with a $100 playset. Gary gives a few thoughts here, and images are below as well.

Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes – Without a doubt the “coup de grace” of these figures that Gary is covering, this is one awesome looking Snake Eyes. I continue to be surprised that Hasbro can continue to make versions of Snake Eyes that still appeal. Between the Resolute version and this one, they are some high demand, very cool looking figures, yet are more versions of the same character that was already redundant 7 years ago. Smokescreen over on one-18th.com has obtained a pre-production version of a mysterious “battle damaged” Storm Shadow, rumored to be “Arctic Assault”. It’s quite an interesting looking figure, with a torn tunic, slices throughout his torso and some very strange oversized gauntlets. Whatever the ultimate destination, the figure rocks, I can’t wait to pick it up on store shelves, in whatever capacity it comes. Vanishing Point from JoeBattleLines is reporting that both GameCrazy and GameStop will be having pre-order exclusives for G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA. This is what he’s reporting:
- GameCrazy.com will have a “classic Scarlett skin” including the kevlar body suit with leather gloves, boots and leotard, red marksman pad.
- GameStop.com will have a “classic Duke skin” as well as an exclusive comic book.
While I haven’t been able to confirm anything with GameCrazy as of yet, a visit to GameStop.com reveals this information:
“YO JOE! Reserve G.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra and receive an exclusive 22-page limited edition collectible comic book with pull out poster and the unlock code for the classic uniform for Conrad “DUKE” Hauser. Available for online and in-store customers while supplies last.
Online / In-Store Pickup Customers: Exclusive comic book and code to unlock Duke’s uniform will be shipped with the game.
