According to a thread on the GIJCC Message Boards, we should expect the 2010 G.I. Joe Convention Brochure to appear this week. This is the following post from GIJCC staffmember “The Commander”:
“Finally, there will be no more clues – as the full 2010 Convention Brochure will be available this week!”
Look, I love reading Alexx’s stuff…but I especially love reading his stuff on items that I don’t yet own. For whatever reason I don’t have the Snarler motorcycle yet. I haven’t seen it at retail, and it’s not quite worth the shipping costs to me, but I plan on snagging it if I find it in stores. Until then, I’ll simply live vicariously through Alexx, as usual. Great pics! See the original thread on JBL here.
We’ve seen a few pictures already, but Troynos from HissTank.com has posted a load of updated images for the mysterious retooled Ghost Hawk that recently leaked. The origin or the potential release date of this item are not currently known. It’s entirely possible that this item may not even see release, but it’s at least cool to check out. Those retooled engines and stabilizers are pretty awesome, I think. A whole lot cooler than the original design in some ways. I dig it.
Yeah, tomorrow’s gonna be a great day. For whatever reason, much of the IDW stuff hasn’t really been grabbing me…but G.I. Joe: Cobra did. The G.I. Joe: Cobra Special did. And from the looks of things, G.I. Joe: Cobra II is going to rock my balls off. No amazing action or anything so far, but just the crisp writing, the unique art style and the way it all comes together is just impressive. IGN has posted another 5-Page preview, which I’ve mirrored below.

Now the question is… is that Jinx? And if so, does this take place before the first series? Or is this someone different? I guess we’ll find out… and if you missed the preview from yesterday, here’s that as well:
Okay. This is hilarious. First of all, thanks to nerd supersite (is that a compliment?) Topless Robot for directing readers to the Cobra Takeover. An absolutely hilarious blog-format website from Cobra Commander where he dials up random people on ChatRoulette and talks to them, fully decked out in Cobra Commander gear. Yes, it sounds funny. But the reality is even better.
YouTube hilarity below.
Forget Cobra Commander! i09.com reveals the real Cobra star of G.I. Joe: Cobra II, and it’s Croc-Master! Appearing here in a special six page preview and looking remarkably similar to his Real American Hero version, we get a very cool look at Cobra’s sinister director of security…I love this new take. Check out the gallery below.
Big thanks to Airborne4584’s Twitter Account as well as ylw06stang from HissTank.com for reporting that the Rise of Cobra “Arctic Threat” Doc and Shipwreck have been found in Toys “R” Us today! ylwo6stang found his in Palm Beach, Florida. Photographic prove is included below…let the hunt continue!
Hi – Here is a quick update from http://www.bigbadtoystore.com about a
variety of new arrivals and many more preorders. There is a ton of great
stuff this week so be sure to check through the lists below: (more…)
The latest edition of the Sideshow Collectibles Newsletter has arrived in member’s mailboxes, and contained within is the news that Flint is next on the docket for Sideshow’s very capable sculpting and design department! The small sneak preview makes it immediately obvious that this is a very faithful translation of everyone’s favorite Warrant Officer, and this will be one figure that will be VERY tough for me to hold off on.
Check out the sneak preview image below (or you can check out the preview itself here), and expect more images to come shortly… pre-order will launch January 28th!
While I’ve stayed relatively clear of the Sideshow Collectible 12″ figures, simply due to price point, luckily, GeneralsJoes contributor Mysterious Stranger is all over ’em! Even more luckily, he reviews ’em for me, too. Click the “Read the Rest of this Entry” link below to check out the whole thing. (more…)
