Paul Ernst from Fighting-118th.com has found the Toys “R” Us Exclusive Senior Ranking Officer figures at a local Toys “R” Us, and reports about it on his site here. They retail for $14.99, and look to have some pretty nice repaints in the packs.
Toys “R” Us is coming out with a flood of store exclusives over the next year, including a pair of Senior Ranking Officer 3-packs, one from the COBRA side, one from G.I. Joe. The COBRA side features a very cool Destro repaint that is actually a nice version of how he appears in the console video game. There’s a great Elite-Viper and Neo-Viper as well (though the Neo-Viper is labelled as a Viper Commando for some weird reason).

So my current “most wanted” figure is the COBRA Elite-Viper. He’s one of the few Wave 3 figures that I don’t yet have, and every picture I see makes me want him more. He seems to strike the right balance between movie aesthetic and somewhat more traditional troopers. No out of whack armor on the forearms, some nice pads and more standard military gear. I really dig him.

SNAKE EYES from HissTank.com brings it to my attention, that NSA from fansite Fighting118th.com was at the SDCC Preview Night last night and posted some fantastic pictures on his site here and here. Lots of great shots with angles we haven’t seen before, including a GREAT shot of what appears to be a Resolute themed Stalker action figure! Yeah!
