Sideshow Collectibles G.I. Joe SDCC Video Online

Sideshow has done up a very cool video presenting their plans for the G.I. Joe license in conjunction with SDCC 2010!  You can view it on their site right here.
I also took some screen shots from some of the more interesting items shown, such as Dusty and Stalker 12″ figure designs, Cobra Commander and Baroness statues, and dioramas featuring Cobra Commander, the Crimson Guard, Roadblock and more.
Check out the screen grabs below, watch the video here, or just check out the embedded video below as well.

New carded Pursuit of Cobra images make a good day even better

So I got my new Droid yesterday…and I’m in love with it.  It’s Friday.  My boss bought coffee this morning.  Could the day get any better?
Turns out, yes, yet it can.  Thanks to The Terror Drome for passing along the word that ACToys forum member zartan扎坦 has posted some carded images of the upcoming second wave of Pursuit of Cobra single-packed figures, and of course, they’re freaking gorgeous.  I love these toys.
Check out the mirrored images below.

GeneralsJoes reviews Rise of Cobra Desert Rockslide w/ Dusty!

The July “Review-A-Rama” continues!  You didn’t think G.I. Joe: Origins #17 was the only review I was going to do today, did you?  😉
I covered the Rise of Cobra Lavapod yesterday, and today I bring you a review for the Desert Rockslide w/ Dusty!  I was not a huge fan of the Rockslide in Wave 1, but for some reason I am really liking this set a lot more than I thought I would.  I’m not a big desert environment fan, I’m not a big Rockslide fan, yet I find some appeal in this one.  Maybe it’s just in comparison with the Lavapod…  whatever the reason, check out all of my thoughts right here!

Unholy temptation surfaces on eBay… Pursuit of Cobra Dusty!

Ouch.  So far I’ve held back my fingers, but it’s getting tough.
As reported first by The Terror Drome, eBay seller viperkingdom has posted an overseas auction for the upcoming Pursuit of Cobra Dusty figure.  Normally I don’t cover this stuff, but because it’s for a Wave 2 figure that has not hit the eBay black market yet, I figured I should at least talk about it.  It certainly doesn’t hurt that this particular figure makes me feel all mushy inside.
The downside is the price.  With shipping, snagging a Pursuit of Cobra Dusty figure prior to retail release will set you back close to $25.  Personally, I’m going to hold off, as much as this figure rocks my world.  I’m buying myself a Droid X on Thursday, gotta pinch the pennies where I can.  Check out the mirrored images below.

Missing Alpha vehicles from The Rise of Cobra found North of the Border!

With a huge thanks to friend of GeneralsJoes and member of JoeCanuck.com Stealth Viper for reporting that the third wave of Alpha vehicles from the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra have started hitting retail at various Wal-Marts in Canada!
The sighting was first reported here by akpayne, and several other JoeCanuck members have chimed in, including images!
This is finally confirmation that these have hit mainstream retail somewhere, and will fill some holes in many Joe fans’ collections!  Check out the sighting thread here, and if you’re in Canada, or know someone who lives there, start cashing in those favors.
