Huge thanks to the MSGulfCoast GIJoe Collectors Club for snagging a nice copy of a recent G.I. Joe: Renegades promo that aired on a recent episode of Hubworld. A lot of new footage is sprinkled throughout, with a heaping helping of cool music and action.
The roller coaster ride continues full steam ahead and Renegades finally arrives November 26th at 5:00pm! Are you ready?

So, anyone who has been hitting this site knows by now that G.I. Joe: Renegades is hitting The Hub on November 26th. Well, anyone who is a fan of action animation has a lot more to look forward to than just that.
Check out what’s hitting TV on Friday, the 26th, all times are from the Eastern Time Zone:

So, yeah… that’s like 5 hours of awesome action animation for the evening after Thanksgiving. Best part is, none of it overlaps. Of course, to me, G.I. Joe: Renegades is the highlight of it, but Young Justice looks amazing, Avengers has been terrific, and I’m looking forward to Transformers: Prime, too. Wow there is some great animated series on the air right now. It’s almost like the comic book-heavy 90’s again!
Here are some videos to wet your whistle…I know I can’t wait!
G.I. Joe: Renegades
A short while ago, it was revealed that Major Bludd was likely to be a part of the third episode of G.I. Joe: Renegades, with the episode entitled “The Package”. Now we know who sends him after his target! TVGuide.com has updated their line up for Friday, December 3rd, and included the following description:
“The Joes stop the Baroness’ mercenary from completing his planned assassination.”
Uh, spoiler warning next time? From the looks of the listings on TV Guide, it would appear that the new episode of G.I. Joe: Renegades airs at 5:30pm, following a repeat of Episode Two. Also on TVGuide.com, there is a slightly more detailed episode breakdown, also featuring some information on Episode Four, Return of the Arashikage, Part 1. The following description is listed for that episode:
“The Joes train with Snake Eyes at his dojo and learn about his connection to Storm Shadow and their shady shared past.”
By the sounds of this, we should see Storm Shadow early on in the series, and start learning about his connection to Snake Eyes pretty quickly. Looking forward to checking these out!

The Discovery Education website has kicked off a cool little “Meet the Storytellers” section of their website, and has put some focus on the creators behind the Transformers: Prime and G.I. Joe: Renegades animated series. While there isn’t much detail written into these snippets, it’s always pretty cool to get a peek behind the scenes look. Check out the links below:
Like I said, nothing fantastic, but some neat peeks into the production team of the upcoming animated series. A big thanks to BCYOJOE of HissTank.com for the info!
After weeks and months of silence and somewhat frustrating lack of updates from Hasbro or The Hub, the G.I. Joe: Renegades publicity train has officially left the station and is barreling down the tracks. While we’ve seen some peeks here and there of the Renegades universe, here, we finally get the full on G.I. Joe: Renegades launch trailer treatment. And it is good. Very good.

By now, folks know I’m eager to see this get rolling. This trailer has made me even more eager. Animation is nice and smooth, the story certainly doesn’t seem too stilted for the younger age set. Time will tell. I can’t wait for the 26th so we can get a real idea of how things are going to progress.
