Hopefully everyone has submitted their questions for the G.I. Joe: Resolute creative team in preparation for the upcoming Q & A session. Over on GIJoeResolute.com Hasbro has posted a little snippet with a portion of the interview with the creative team behind G.I. Joe: Resolute. Not a lot of info as of yet, but definitely a good start!
Thanks to General Hawk59 of HissTank.com for the info!

madmac over at JoeBattleLines is pretty much the biggest Outback fan there is, so as can be imagined, he’s had his ups and downs over the past few months. Anyway, he managed to get a pre-production Outback in his grubby little hands, and slapped up a mini-review over on JoeBattleLines. Check it out!

Yeesh, these images are hitting everywhere… packaged and loose pictures of the two upcoming Assault and Defense of COBRA Island 7-Packs are starting to hit pretty much every site on the ‘net. Man do these things look great. Items of note… Chuckles now has his proper light blue shirt! Outback appears to be in a Night Force uniform, since the regular version is hitting with the FLAK after all. Strato-Viper is now being called “Air Viper”, and the Dr. Mindbender looks considerably different than he did in promo pictures. Where it looked like he had a lot of new tooling in the promotional images, these more recent pics show Gung Ho’s torso and the Crimson Guard legs. Some curious choices, but they work, ultimately.
Overall, I’m happy with what I’m seeing here. Hasbro managed to knock out a huge chunk of a lot of “want lists” with these two 7-packs, but still left enough up in the air to keep folks hanging for those vintage homages. A neat formula. Probably the two gems of these two packs to me (besides Hit and Run. WOOt we’re getting a Hit and Run!!! 😀 ) would be Zap and Alley-Viper. It takes a lot to make an Original 13 guy appeal to me, but Zap rocks my world. Those twin holsters are too cool, and even though his uniform is relatively simple, it manages to be crammed with nice little details. Love that figure. Alley-Viper…well, I can’t really say enough about that one. He is pure beauty. Enough of the words, though, check out the pictoral goodness:

Friend of GeneralsJoes, Smokescreen from One-18th.com stumbled upon some pretty spiffy looking popcorn bags while taking in Wolverine this afternoon. G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA is already getting some great promotional treatment in theaters across the country! Check out the images below:

The familiar favorites have posted their reviews for the latest IDW G.I. Joe comic, The Rise of COBRA Prequel #3 featuring The Baroness. The response seems to be very positive so far.

So far still no word on whether or not these will officially be released, but cmderinchief got his hands on Wave 3 of the Combat Heroes sets and shared some images with The Terror Drome. Check out the mirrored images below.

Sideshow Collectibles has posted their latest installment of Sideshow TV, this time around focusing on their San Diego ComicCon exclusives. Of course included in these exclusives is the semi-revealed Crimson COBRA Commander, and this video gives us a great look at the complete figure. COBRA Commander appears at about the 7:00 minute mark and is one impressive looking entry into the exclusive field. As a straight-up repaint/rerelease of the standard version, I wasn’t all that impressed, but I gotta tell you he looks really striking in full on red and silver, and looks like he comes with a gorgeous cape instead of the trenchcoat. Dang. I wanted to not like this figure, but looking at this I just can’t help but love it (even if I won’t likely be dropping the massive coin for it). Obviously patterened after the Crimson Guard, COBRA Commander looks amazing, and Sideshow did a spectacular job taking a figure that normally I wouldn’t care less about and making it just a little bit painful that he’s an expensive SDCC Exclusive.
Click here to check out the video, and some screen shots of the figure have been posted below.
Big credit goes out to friend of GeneralsJoes Mysterious Stranger for the info!

You can always tell what the potential popularity of an upcoming toyline is by the number of overseas sellers who are offering pre-production product for it. So far there seems to be a rather large groundswell of G.I. Joe related sellers, and the buyers must be speaking with their wallets, because the stuff keeps on popping up. Well known seller unitedwell923 has listed a number of new auctions with some pretty neat pictures mixed in amongst them, including Resolute Destro, Wal-Mart Gung Ho and Copperhead, and a mysterious red uniformed Viper.
Also, thanks to some digging around by HissCommander from the Terror Drome, we’ve also got some neat images of Rise of COBRA Combat Heroes figures. These don’t appear to be listed on eBay yet, but I would imagine that could be coming at any time.

There’s a question mark on the end there because I have no idea if this is a single pack Hawk or what…just looking at the head sculpt, it’s definitely Quaid-like, and he’s considerably different than the version that comes with The Pit, but we still don’t really know where this figure is going to come from.
Check out the thread on JBL here, and I’ve got the images mirrored below as well.
