Thanks to Josh Dahl of the Terror Drome for the heads up that a member of Brian Bendis’ message board on 606Studios.com caught an advanced screening of G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA and posted his review here.
Some minor spoilers, so I’ll mirror the text after the “break”.
WorthPlaying.com has posted a new installment in the developers diary from Double Helix, this time talking about the production of the Nintendo DS version of G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA. It would appear that Kansas City is where the advanced screening was, and Latino Review reader “P Ben” chimes in with his review. While many folks will probably already start screaming “PLANT!!”, this review was extremely positive! The reviewer loved the film and indicated that the audience overall did as well. I’ll take this one with a bit of a grain of salt (as I would if it were overly negative), but I’ve gotta say this is sounding like a potentially good thing.

My buddies over at One-18th.com have posted another review from the Rise of COBRA, this time for Zartan, in his Military Policeman disguise. This is one figure that I haven’t picked up yet, and I’m honestly not certain if I will. I absolutely LOVE his weapons, but I’m just not convinced I want to drop $8.00 just for those. Still tempting, though.
