My buddies over at One-18th.com have posted another review from the Rise of COBRA, this time for Zartan, in his Military Policeman disguise. This is one figure that I haven’t picked up yet, and I’m honestly not certain if I will. I absolutely LOVE his weapons, but I’m just not convinced I want to drop $8.00 just for those. Still tempting, though.
See what Smokescreen thinks right here, and a few of the images are mirrored below.

I agree. His weapons are great, but the figure just doesn’t do it for me. I want a traditional Zartan, in a more unique, character specific costume.
Plus, honestly…I like Vosloo, but I think Zartan should have been someone a little less…soft? I dunno. He can be anyone, which is the beauty. But this figure doesn’t do it for me. Maybe at the TrU sale…
Nas: Do you really, honestly want to see a man in a belly shirt with a towel draped over his head in a live action movie?
I am passing on this toy (I got the K-Mart Duke repaint of it and found it a fairly unimpressive mold, particularly the arms) but I appreciate the attempt to make a Zartan figure that is, for once, actually in disguise. For a “Master of Disguise” he seems unsuitably attached to distinctive, flamboyant clothing.
