Here’s the latest news and new product information from us.
GI JOE

We’re pleased to announce the recent acquisition of over 300 vintage
loose / complete 3 3/4″ GI JOE action figures. We also have a number
of new listings for carded figures from the early 90’s including
Battle Corps, Ninja Force, some rarer Mortal Kombat figures, and more.
Additionally listed is another round of various vehicles mostly from
the Spy Troops / Valor vs. Venom era. You can find all of these new
listings in the Vintage & Loose category under their respective years.
GI JOE: Retaliation wave 3.5 and wave 4 figure cases have been restocked.
Favorites here are Ultimate Duke, Ultimate Storm Shadow, Kwinn, Jinx,
Night-Viper, and many others. Get these before they are gone. We are
not expecting any new GI JOE 3 3/4″ product at retail in 2014.
For the 12″ / 1:6 scale fans we’ve recently acquired over 70 mint in
package GI JOE figures from the 90’s. Represented here are items from
Classic Collection, Timeless Collection, Hall of Fame, and 50th
Anniversary.

It’s been a very slow year for new GI JOE product but we’re offering
a full stock of the classic character appearance 25th Anniversary
modern-era GI JOE action figures. We also have Renegades, Rise of Cobra,
30th Anniversary, and the preview editions of the Retaliation figures from
the upcoming 2013 GI JOE film. Don’t forget to take a look through all of

We recently stocked the MRF Racing jeep and Police jeep. Produced under
license by Funksool in India, these are fun variations on the original
GI JOE VAMP jeep.

THE FUTURE OF OUR GI JOE COMIC OFFERINGS

Over the last year we’ve noticed a significant decline in sales of our
GI JOE comic book offerings. We can speculate as to why (digital offerings,
the economy, changing collector demographics, etc.) but in the end we must
make a decision regarding whether or not this is a service that you, our
customer, is still interested in.
The GI JOE comic book offerings have been more or less a break-even
affair for us for a number of years but we have continued to offer the
books to support what we feel is a very important part of GI JOE’s
mythology. Nevertheless, we’re dealing with a what appears to be a
prevailing trend of disinterest. Also, there are some questionable
change-ups by IDW for the GI JOE comics in 2013 and we would be remiss in
not mentioning the perpetual service problems with Diamond Comic Distributors
(this is the most tactful way we can put that).
At the end of the year we’ll be making the decision as to whether to
continue offering the GI JOE comics. We’re asking all customers who
are interested in seeing this service continue to please step in and pick
up the issues you’re missing in the next six weeks. Our sales of the books
between now and December 31st will indicate to us if this is still a useful
offering for you.

With the GI JOE: Retaliation movie being pushed back it has been a slow year
for GI JOE 3 3/4″ toy products. We actually aren’t expecting anything truly
new until the first quarter of next year. In the meantime, we have been
working to keep a good, stocked selection of GI JOE 25th Anniversary and
Rise of Cobra product. Be sure to view our latest listings in those
categories.
All of the latest GI JOE regular monthly comics as well as limited series and
one-shots are available. IDW is currently printing four ongoing titles:
GI JOE, Snake-Eyes & Storm Shadow, Cobra, and A Real American Hero. There
are a variety of 99 cents sale comics kicking around in most of the GI JOE
comic menu categories so dig through and see what you can find a killer deal
on.
We have some new listings for items exclusive to the GI JOE 2012 Collector’s
Convention. All of the attendee premiums and packages sold out so be sure to
track down what you want before it disappears forever into private
collections.
GI JOE t-shirts are all on sale. These are some older designs that aren’t
available elsewhere. We don’t have many left and have these set to very low
prices to blow them out of the warehouse for good. We have a lot of adult
small and medium. These are good sizes for kids and teens (hint – gift idea!).
MARVEL UNIVERSE

We continue to main a very large selection of Marvel Universe 3.75″ action
figures from Hasbro. The last assortment featuring Beast, Beta Ray Bill,
Kraven the Hunter, Spider-Man Unlimited, and New Incredible Hulk sold through
but they are available for pre-order again for an early September arrival.
The newest assortment featuring Kang, She-Hulk, Shattered Dimension
Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, and a new Punisher figure are due in a couple of
days. Get your pre-orders in now.
FORCES OF VALOR

A lot of new 1:32 scale Forces of Valor WW2-era die-cast models have been
released in the last few months and we now have them all listed for sale.
