IDW G.I. Joe Solicitations for June, 2012
As we lead up to G.I. Joe: Retaliation, IDW isn’t letting up on their G.I. Joe themed releases!
They’ve just revealed their Soliciations for June, 2012, and you can check them out after the jump.
First look at G.I. Joe: Retaliation Cobra Commander figure in package at GIJoeClub
Along with the good news about the store software and membership deadline extension, the G.I. Joe Collectors Club also posted a nice little snippet on GIJoeClub.com! While we did see some packaged mock ups at Toy Fair this year, this is the first time we’re seeing a packaged sample of Cobra Commander on the G.I. Joe: Retaliation card.

Aerosmith will provide song for G.I. Joe: Retaliation film
We haven’t heard any information about an official soundtrack of anything for G.I. Joe: Retaliation, but apparently Aerosmith is providing a track for the film, according to Steven Tyler and antimusic.com.
The song is called Legendary Children and was supposedly originally recorded in conjunction with Aerosmith’s 1993 album “Get a Grip”. According to both Tyler and guitarist Brad Whitford, the song will debut on American Idol at some point in May.
More news on this as it develops.
Trio of new G.I. Joe: Retaliation images revealed
The real source of these images is a bit cloudy, but according to Cosmic Book News, the images come from Kino Gallery which is a Russian photo gallery site, and may be tied into the Russian Movie Expo which was very recently held.
These three new images feature Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye, Elodie Young as Jinx, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Roadblock. Check out the mirrored images below.

Official image of Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe: Retaliation hits the web!
Big thanks to Total Film, who are the first to broadcast this, though I’m honestly not sure if the image is theirs exclusively or not. It features Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe: Retaliation in a threatening pose with pistol raised and ready to pop some caps!
