Hasbro’s Public Relations firm has made available the high resolution press photos for the ComicCon 2014 “Danger at the Docks” set. This set begins as an SDCC Exclusive, but then should be available at Toys “R” Us following the debut in San Diego.
I know there has been some confusion about the availability of this set, but as first reported right here on YoJoe, the intention is for this set to be available at Toys “R” Us following its release at SDCC. You can find some images below, including a great shot of some brand new accessories built just for this set!
Thanks as always to Hunter PR for making these images available.

We are painfully aware that we’re not recording quite as often as we did in the past, but we’re trying to make every one of them count!
For Episode 94 we excitedly welcomed back two long time friends of What’s on Joe Mind, Bill Ratner (the voice of Flint) and Arune Singh (Executive Director of Television Communications, Marvel Entertainment) to have some very different discussions.
Mr. Ratner provides awesome detail about G.I. Joe history, while also breaking down his exciting new endeavor at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Meanwhile, Arune celebrates Transformers return to movie screens this summer (and the debut of the IDW comic book) with a spirited discussion about how a G.I. Joe/Transformers team up could work.
As always, check out the latest episode on Podbean, or through the embedded player below. Show notes after the jump!

With a sale date list of August 13th, items from the G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary line have started showing up on ToysRUs.com. Whether people jumped on them early or if they just haven’t listed everything yet, I’m not sure, but as of this moment, the HEAT Viper/Blowtorch 2 Pack, Low Light/Night Viper 2 Pack, the Cobra Trooper 3 Pack, and the Cobra Wolf are listed for pre-order.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of this page to check it out and get your orders in!

Sorry, Internet, we took a forced sabbatical for a little while as some technical issues nearly wiped out Episode 92 from existence! Thankfully Gary’s technical wizardry pulled it back from the brink, and we have it ready to go.
This episode is absolutely chock full. You want to hear about vintage G.I. Joe? We got Kirk Bozigian for that! You want to hear about stuff rolling with Boss Fight Studio? Andrew Franks is actually one of the co-hosts! You want to hear about some other cool projects from G.I. Joe fans? Chris Sims and Chad Bowers lay the hammer about Down, Set, Fight!
There is literally something for everyone in this one. Check out Episode 92 on our Podbean Page, or embedded below, and don’t forget to check the show notes!

Hot of the heels of an especially great Convention exclusive set, we now have an equally great membership incentive figure! Available carded at the Convention itself (and through the Club store), the free membership figure started arriving last week.
Well, I got mine, and you can check out the review at the G.I. Joe Collectors Club Review page, or also linked below.

When you’re pounding through 20 something reviews in 10 days, some times there are some details that get missed, and unfortunately it’s been pointed out to me that complaints about Outback’s arm articulation were likely because I had his left arm positioned backwards throughout most of the review.
That is a true point, though it doesn’t help the movement issues in his right arm, but hey, if you’re cool with Outback being left-handed then he can hold and position his weapons a LOT better than I indicated in my review.
So I do apologize, and from now on in my universe, ole Outback is a south paw. 🙂
I’ve added the images and a little clarification text to my Outback review as well. Thanks to the folks who pointed this out to me.
