Cmderinchief (from JBL and the Coil Club, naturally) comes through again, this time with a bevy of great pictures of the upcoming Heavy Duty action figure in the familiar “Reactive Armor” battlesuit. See his original thread on JoeBattleLines here, or check out the nearly two dozen images shown below.

Every picture I see of this “Reactive Armor” stuff makes me really dig it even more…it’s such an awesome throwback to Sigma 6 (which of course will piss a lot of fans off…it just makes me smile) and I’m amazed at the level of detail. Good stuff. Now cmderinchief needs to get off his ass and take a nice group shot with what he’s got so far. :shifty:
GoldenLink, an International theater marketing and concession company has unveiled several promotional items related to G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA. These items are generally things that theater owners can order for onsite promotions, giveaways, etc… You can check out their website here or go directly to the PDF with all of the details here. Of course, I’ve also mirrored all pertinent images below.

Huge thanks to friend of GeneralsJoes notpicard for the information!
The Terror Drome has again come up with some new images of upcoming Rise of COBRA Combat Heroes that should hit retail with the movie release this year. The coolest thing about these are some neat peeks at potential trooper types that we might see coming up, including a movie-styled Para-Viper and Arctic-Viper. Check out the images below.
With much thanks to HissCommander from The Terror Drome, some images have been uncovered of the upcoming G.I. Joe Pit Commando and movie-themed COBRA Eel.
The Pit Commando appears to come in at least two packaging variations, showcasing the different forms the soldier can take, and the sheer amount of gear he comes with is a customizing dream come true. Check out the images of the Pit Commando below:

The COBRA Eel pictures so far have been grainy and undetailed, so these updated images are very nice to see. I gotta say, while I’m not a huge fan of the styling of the movie Vipers and Neo-Vipers, I do really love how they’re taking a base template and tweaking it to make all of these different troop variations. Even though I’m not loving the look, it’s a great concept, and this Eel has enough minor changes to really stand out. He also has some color tweaks; enough to make him at least a bit of an homage to the original. Check out those images below:
Entertainment Tonight spent some time with cast members Marlon Wayans, Channing Tatum, Rachel Nichols, and Sienna Miller, and captured the event on video. About five minutes along, it has some neat interactions between the cast members and little tidbits of information scattered throughout. They talk about their favorite weapons, crack jokes, and add a little insight as well. You can click here to see it, or just check out the embedded video below.
More images have started appearing on various sites for some better pictures of upcoming figures as well as pictures of figures we have not yet heard about. Some very neat stuff in here, even though a lot of it is repaint-city. The higlights of this newest batch of images are:
Pilot Scarlett repaint/retool in UK themed “Quarrel” colors
Wet Down, a Torpedo base figure using the helmet/mask from the ROC Flash
A Neo-Viper in a more silver paint scheme
There are other various newer images of stuff we’ve seen as well. Original source of the info is HissTank.com, check out the images below.
