Hot on the heels of the Toys “R” Us Attack on the Pit review comes the follow up review for the Target exclusive Rescue Mission 4-Pack. While it doesn’t have as many figures, or quite as much value, I think the set itself has a whole lot more “cool factor” than the TRU one.

was that the only one on the shelf? that duke has a terrible paint job.
I hate to ask this since Snake Eyes is one of my top five favorite figures, is the figure hunchbacked or does it just look that way in the pics?
Wow– those paint apps are Duke are as sloppy as the ones I’ve seen in Peoria. It’s the first new Joe product I’ve seen on store shelves since the convention and I passed on it simply because I’m tired of these new Neo-Vipers. I’m tempted by the Snake Eyes but Duke’s head just looks “gi-normous”.
I’m pretty pleased with it. The neo-vipers look better than the standard single card versions. The colors just seem to work with the mold.
Duke is a loss to me. The waist joint is kind of funky and that melon of a head – ugh!
Snake Eyes – the Wolverine of the GI Joe Universe – so over used. But this is one kick-ass figure! I don’t know if I’ll be lucky enough to pick up a city-strike version, maybe they’ll be out there in larger quantities closer to Christmas and throughout 2010.
