Hoooolyy wow. I think that most of us when the G.I. Joe: Retaliation license was announced for Hot Toys, assumed that we’d be getting some pretty cool, high end 12″ figures, but assumptions are one thing, and seeing it in image form are quite another. Good gravy.
Over on the official Hot Toys Facebook page, they have officially announced the first G.I. Joe: Retaliation 12″ figure as Snake Eyes and it is about 120 pounds of awesome in a 12″ package. Check out the mirrored images below, but sit back a little bit, so you don’t get drool on your keyboard.

Now, only one question remains…
HOT TOYS WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME!?!?!?
This figure looks soooooo incredible. How the hell am I going to validate the $200 cost for this thing in my head over the next few months… the internal struggle begins!
That is an awesome figure. This design is so much an improvement over the ROC version I can’t even believe it. But I don’t think I could pay the money for this when I’m leaving Hot Toys’ Avengers figures on the shelf, so to speak. Plus there’s the Sideshow Bludd and Baroness to take into consideration…
if i’d known then this was coming down the path I would have never bought my v2 SE from Sideshow. This thing is AMAZING!
I am SO glad I cancelled my Sideshow Snake Eyes v2 order. This is one beautiful figure. Honestly I never thought that I would actually prefer a movie design over an original.
Come on, Justin. You’ve already validated it. Now you just need to start funneling money towards the purchase!
It’s cool but I don’t think it is $200 cool. I also think this is a gamble too. ROC was arguably a flop and if this movie doesn’t do well you have a line of expensive figs based on a movie nobody liked.
It really does look fantastic, but there’s no way in hell I’d be able to afford it, especially not with all the 3 3/4″ figure goodness coming along in 2013!
It the next few Hot Toys offerings are going to be anywhere near this cool, it’s going to be torture to look but not touch!
Skipped both Sideshow figures, but this might be the one to go for. I’ll be keeping an eye out.
Oh crap. I guess I’ll have to see if Mc Donald’s or Taco Bell is looking for some weekend help.
Incredible. Want.
