New G.I. Joe scale Crysis 2 figures look pretty freaking cool

I’m not really much of a gamer myself, though I’m a pretty devout Halo fan.  That being said, I don’t know much of anything about the game Crysis (or thus, Crysis 2).  But apparently there are guys in there in crazy battle armor and with cool ass cybernetic parts.
Looking like Duke and Ripcord in Accelerator Suits and on steroids, there are currently Joescale Crysis 2 figures hitting Targets across the country.  Ranging in price from $1.99 to $8.00 perhaps on how lucky you are.  I haven’t seen them in person yet, but I’ll be damned if they don’t look pretty bad ass.  To see some nice detail, check out images at JoeCustoms.com and HissTank.com.
There’s an embedded video below as well.  For folks who don’t have a local Target, check out SmallJoes.com they have a pre-order going, too.  These things look pretty damn cool, I gotta say.

Mock up packaging reveals HISS Scout vehicle and Jurassic Park AWE Strikers

We’ve heard and seen plenty about the Jurassic Park AWE Strikers in the past months, with no real sign or indication that they will ever see release.  Hasbro in a recent Q & A actually mentioned that the line was canceled.
Canceled or not, we still see some indications that perhaps a release is pending, and the newest indication are some images of packaging mock ups by HissTank member Gyre-Viper.  Along with these Jurassic Park mock ups, we also get a glimpse of the Alpha class HISS Scout vehicle.  We have heard absolutely nothing lately about the release of these vehicles, and it seems pretty curious that we would already see these figures hitting with no word about the vehicles.
Curious…
Anyway, check out the mirrored images at the HissTank thread, or below.

GeneralsJoes ubiquitous "10 Best G.I. Joe toys of 2010" List

You know, looking back at 2010, it was a pretty paltry year for G.I. Joe, quantity wise.  When you think back 12 months to the end of 2009, we had been absolutely inundated with toys, essentially from July straight through to December, non stop.  It was crazy.  Then 2010 hit, and there was a sudden lapse in the beginning of the year…a miniature flood of product in the middle of the year, then another short lapse, and we’re now in another mini flood.  It seemed to come in bursts.
However, unlike 2009 where we got absolutely drowned in product, yet much of it was the same sort of stuff regurgitated ad nauseum, 2010 gave us much smaller quantity, but a far better quality of toys.  The Pursuit of Cobra hit and hit hard, and made a LOT of Joe fans forget all about their misery over the end of the 25th Anniversary line a year ago.
So, wading through this list of toys, I decided to take some time to pick my ten favorites, which are very likely NOT your ten favorites, but hey, that’s what gets discussions started, right?
