I’ve had these in the hopper for a little while, and I’m just starting to kind of catch up a bit… these have also been posted to the Rise of Cobra Review Page.

To me, this Tripwire makes for a good base for a Rise of Cobra take on Sci-Fi. Indeed, as someone who neither owns a Tripwire nor cares about the character, I’ll probably just call mine Sci-Fi without making any changes to the figure. I love that he comes with Sigma 6 Short-Fuze’s toy, too.
Screw the haters, Tripwire is great.
I desperately want this set; what are the odds it’ll still be around next summer?
Meanwhile, am I alone in liking the version of Scrap-Iron that came with the quad? I don’t own it, but I thought he looked cool, and in fact I like his color scheme better than any of the three Scrap-Iron figures you posted in the review.
I can understand why people are sick of the Neo-Viper, but I still think I’ll make ’em my default troop-builders. Since I haven’t been into toy stores in months aside from a few times in the past couple weeks, I haven’t seen them as often as everyone else, so I’m not sick to death of them. Something about their look appeals to me…
I just got the MMS set the other day, and this was my first Neo-Viper. While I never cared for the overall look of the figure, I’ve discovered that removing the armor and swapping the head makes for a very cool look with the black M.A.R.S. Trooper uniform.
Sad that I can’t find these anymore. I picked up one of the LAW and one of the Outpost Defender, but I’d like one more Outpost Defender to paint up a little bit.
Curious…when and where did the Resolute Roadblock came out…I think I totally missed that one…
I have a couple of the MMS sets and love them. For the missile set alone the price is worth it in my opinion. Especially when hitched to a HISS Tank. Scrap-iron is nice and as mentioned will go well with the Stinger figures.
Van – the Resolute Roadblock hasn’t come out yet. Justin just got his through shall we say “other” means. 😉
Can’t wait for those to come out in Canada… well the Outpost Defender at least. None of the others wow me much.
Justin, are you ever going to review the ROC Alpha class vehicles? I’d love to see your takes on the subject.
