We’ve seen some scattered images for the upcoming “Rip Attack” vehicles, but HissTank has now provided the most in depth images yet, giving us clear images of the two drivers, the vehicles and the mechanism used to launch them. Coolest thing to me is this version of Snake Eyes…I hadn’t noticed in earlier images, but this looks to be a combination of the Paris Pursuit head and legs with the version 1 body and arms. It actually works really well, I think, making Snake Eyes really resemble his movie self, yet being a bit bulkier and more imposing than the overly scrawny first version. I dig it.
Unfortunately “Street-Viper” just looks like the regular Elite-Viper, no new paint scheme or anything, which is kind of a shame, but his vehicle actually looks pretty neat. Check out the mirrored images below.

“I hadn’t noticed in earlier images, but this looks to be a combination of the Paris Pursuit head and legs with the version 1 body and arms.”
This is inaccurate: He is Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes with the arms and webgear of the first one; note that the torso DOESN’T have the sculpted muscles of Ray Park’s rubber shirt from the movie.
The Tiger Snake is pretty cool looking and even if it is just an Elite Viper, that’s still a pretty good figure.
The Joe Bike is… unimpressive, and as much as ‘jacketless PP Snake-Eyes” would be a neat figure, it does not make me want it in the least. Very round and soft looking overall, frankly.
That Elite Viper makes me really sad. The worst part is that they still have not made one that is screen accurate…which would just be all black. How hard would it be for them to release it in just black? Yet this will be the third time it is released in these colors?
SE and his ride aren’t ticling my fancy but I might go for the City Snake, even if teh driver seems like an Elite Viper without gear.
can i say “shitty” on here? if not, please replace “shitty” with the words “fecal mattery”.
regardless of what iteration of “solid wasty” gets used, thats what i think about these particular items the article has put for forth for me to opine upon.
theyre shitty.
notpicard, actually the Elite Viper suits were a very dark navy blue, but with the lighting in the film they looked black.

I don’t like how they’re called Elite-Vipers, myself. Considering they did menial tasks like heat water pipes and used regular rifles instead of pulse weapons, I’d say they were the standard Vipers of the film.
I consider it a plus that he’s the same colors as the original, as he can easily be added into the ranks of what I have without being a one-off figure. That’s just my opinion, though.
I’ve been buying gijoe toys for more than 25 years, it’s a shame i stopped buying them now that they look this crappy.
Wow, action figures with action vehicles and no Sound Attack or Action Attack gimmicks! Just good, solid, Evil Knievel style rip-racers and action figures that you can play with like the other Joes. Pure win! If you are buying a toy, that is, then this is gold. All you haters of this toy need to realize that grown up play and kid play is a wee bit different.
Hasbro will sell tons of these.
Come to think of it, since Hasbro did a M.A.S.K. tribute Matt Trakker figure for the 25th, wouldn’t it be great if they could pull off a Evil Knievel deco motorcycle and figure from this set? Which side would he join, Joe or COBRA? If Joe, he’d be a good foil for Rowdy Roddy Piper 😉
News for you: These will be collecting dust on the shelves as the assortments of figures right now; hasbro will learn his lesson the hard way.
