A short while ago, I posted a link from Amazon.uk which indicated that the DVD/Blu-Ray release for G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA might just be December 7, 2009. Well, thanks to The Terror Drome for pointing out that potential new proof has emerged in the form of German DVD site, Area DVD. Not only that, but we get a look at what might be some cover art for the release as well. Check that out below.

Interesting. The film was released to theaters on the anniversary date (August 6) of the dropping of the first nuclear bomb on Japan, and if the DVD date holds then it will be on the anniversary date of the bombing of Pearl Harbor (December 7). Chicken and the egg hmm?
that may be the foreign release dates. tf2 is releasing in october in the states, but that says november. so maybe the joe dvd will be released here in november
