San Diego ComicCon is just around the corner, and as always, Hasbro is front and center as part of the action. First and foremost on my mind is the great sampling of SDCC Exclusive toys, especially the ones by Hasbro. Eisner Award–winning illustrator Dave Dorman has been doing cover art, packaging art, fine art, toy design, and concept art for the past 25 years. His first cover was for Heavy Metal magazine, and since that time, he has expanded into artwork for licensed properties including Star Wars, Alien, Predator, Alien vs. Predator, Batman, Spider-Man, G.I. Joe, The Green Hornet, Magic: The Gathering, World of Warcraft, Battlestar Galactica, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and many more. The fans voted him the “#1 Star Wars Artist of All Time,” and he is a proud honorary member of the 501st Midwest Garrison.
