Amongst the Destro-related hooplah today, somewhat lost in the shuffle is a few new pictures of the upcoming Rise of COBRA Neo-Viper. I feel that there was so much potential for the cobra army costumes in this movie and we get a soldier that looks like a demon from the Hellraiser franchise. I hope that they have a relevant story line that explains their appearance, like the use of fear in modern warfare that gives Cobra the cutting edge. We’ll see.
I just assumed that since in the “movieverse” they’re Destro’s lackeys so he puts them in metal masks like his. Sorta like how the original Vipers had helmets like Cobra Commander’s.
I wonder if they’re even going to refer to them as “Vipers and Neo-Vipers” in the actual film. This one looks a lot like the Viper Commando figure but the Combat Hero Neo-Viper looks like the MARS trooper.
