Continuing the recent trend, ACToys.net has some great images of soon-to-be released items up on their message boards. madmac over at JoeBattleLines is pretty much the biggest Outback fan there is, so as can be imagined, he’s had his ups and downs over the past few months. Anyway, he managed to get a pre-production Outback in his grubby little hands, and slapped up a mini-review over on JoeBattleLines. Check it out!
eBay seller unitedwell93 has posted up some loose Attack on COBRA Island figures, including Lamprey, Hit n Run, Night Creeper, Dr. Mindbender, Alley-Viper, and Outback. Check out the auctions here, and the images can be seen in the gallery below. Keep in mind, these appear to be pre-production items, and they may not be final.
Also of note, is the seller also has an auction featuring the female figure we showcase a few days ago, and this time actually has it labeled as “Dial Tone“.

From the “off again, on again” department at Hasbro, the Wave 5 vehicles have been a source of question marks for Joe fans over the past several months. Solicited a long time ago, then cancelled, and now apparently reborn, the Stinger, Arctic HISS, and FLAK/CLAW continue to tease collectors. eBay seller dreamcab has now posted test shots for these vehicles on his eBay page, along with some apparent packaging samples.

Some folks are starting to receive their latest Collectors’ Club newsletters for the month of April…but unfortunately there is no additional information on the 2009 Convention Exclusive figures within. 🙁
However, not all news is bad news. According to GGPIKE of the Coil Club, the newsletter does have a very nice (though apparently somewhat small) picture spread of the upcoming Attack on COBRA Island 7-Packs with pictures of the figures and all of the gear they will be coming with!
