I’m not sure how much I’ll be online throughout the day, but Sideshow’s Twitter feed just revealed that “Our newsletter will be full of exciting news about G.I. Joe, Marvel and much more! Be sure to check-it out later today!”
So any Sideshow Collectible members, keep your eyes open for the newsletter today. I’ll report on the findings here as soon as I get them! Sideshow is one of those things that I am currently loving from afar. I got my hands on a Snake Eyes, and I LOVE it, but I haven’t been able to squirrel away enough cash to think about getting any others at the moment. Still, though, I look forward to any news about future releases, hopefully we’ll hear something cool today.

Though it’s listed as a “Soundtrack” the artist is labelled as Alan Silvestri, who produced the musical score for the film, so my guess is that this is actually the score, not the soundtrack. Check out the listing on Amazon here.

As more information continues to trickle out, I’m doing some needed revamping to the Rise of COBRA Toy SuperPage. In the past couple of days I’ve made the following changes:
- Added images for every single assortment, most of them carded
- Separated “Collection 2” into the two separate waves based on retailer information from JoeSightings.com
- Added various items for Exclusives, Vehicles, etc…
- Added some Speculative listings for potential future items that have yet to be confirmed.

Phil Kost from JoeReloaded.com passes on the word that he’s posted 5-page previews for upcoming G.I. Joe issues from IDW. These two issues are slated to hit shelves next Wednesday. Check them out on JoeReloaded here and here, and also take a peek at the mirrors below. Keep in mind, of course, there may be movie-related spoilers in the 5-page preview for the movie adaptation. I think the thumbnails are small enough to prevent any real detail, but always keep that in mind.

Just when I feel like I’m ready to move on to the next thing, something drags me back to Resolute, kicking and screaming! Well, not exactly screaming… :shifty:
Joaquim Dos Santos has posted a piece of art on his DeviantArt page featuring what looks to be a possible cover for a DVD for G.I. Joe: Resolute. That’s simply hyperbole on my part, but whatever it’s for, it kicks my ass. Really kicks my ass. This is fantastic looking. Joaquim does mention on his page that a DVD release should be pending within the coming months. I wonder what we’d have to do to get Hasbro to put out a poster of this bad boy…

Along with the Join the Team promotion, Hasbro has also totally revamped the GIJoe.com website with new wallpapers, some awesome new animated intro’s and a bunch of great cosmetic changes. You can view upcoming Rise of COBRA toys, buy The Pit or the Night Raven, or just have fun cycling through the different options at the opening screen. It’s very cool.
Below I’ve mirrored images from the G.I. Joe Intel section as well as the wallpapers, just to show how freaking cool the artwork is. Anyone who has been talking bad about the quality of the art in recent releases needs to take a long, hard look at this stuff. Gorgeous.

In celebration of the upcoming G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA motion picture, GIJoe.com has launched a contest to “Join the Team”! This contest is for children aged 6 – 12 (or in Germany aged 7 – 12) and gives the child the opportunity to join the G.I. Joe or COBRA team and create a unique character for themselves. Entries will be judged, and the winners will receive custom figures of themselves as a 3 3/4″ G.I. Joe figure! Click here to go directly to the contest page.

Just went through and totally overhauled the Toy SuperPage based on some leaked info by BigBadToyStore.
