Out of package test shot pictures of SDCC Destro (old school)

We’ve already seen some very nice loose pictures of the upcoming SDCC exclusive Destro in his 3-piece suit, but what about the infamous McCullen ancestor that comes in the two-pack with him? Well, they’re uncolored test shots, but Black Sheep Toy Store has posted an auction here with his normal collection of nice images. Check out those images below!

Mysterious upcoming pre-production items on eBay

The Black Sheep Toy Store strikes again, this time with a nice batch of somewhat vintage-themed figures that look to be done up in movie style paint schemes.  Very interesting looking figures, for sure.  Click the following links to check out the auctions, and then peruse all of the images mirrored below.

There are some part swaps and paint alterations, but some interesting stuff to see, for sure.  I love the Grand Slam with the different lower legs, and the AVAC with the Resolute Trooper arms.  Some neat stuff mixed up here…

Strange auction for upcoming Night Raven… errr… Nightbird??

An overseas eBay seller has posted an auction for what appears to be the upcoming Rise of COBRA Night Raven w/ Air-Viper…however, the box proclaims this item to be a Nightbird w/ Aero-Viper.  Is this an early sample prior to the name change to Night Raven, or more likely just the International name for the COBRA Night Raven?

Regardless of any naming questions, this auction has some pretty cool pictures of the outside of the box as well as the opened box with some shots of the item inside.

Check out the auction here and the images mirrored below.

Thanks to HissCommander from the Terror Drome for the heads up.

Reactive armor Ripcord pre-production item on eBay

Black Sheep Toy Store has been specializing in fully painted pre-production samples, and even carded items, but they’re branching out a bit into the unpainted pre-production arena.  Most of the items they’ve just listed have been seen before, but this Reactive Armor Ripcord is new.  I mean, we all knew it was coming (just like it’s obvious that a Duke in Accelerator Suit will be showing up sooner rather than later), but it’s still neat to see.  I actually really enjoy how Hasbro can take some very similar looks and change them up a bit.  Even unpainted, you can see some of the structural and design changes that separate this figure at least somewhat from the many other armored figures that have already been seen.  A pretty nice looking toy, all told.  Check out the auction here and see the image below.
