Sources from within SDCC have reported to JoeBattleLines and GeneralsJoes that there is some great new product being prepped behind the scenes to be displayed in the Hasbro booth at ComicCon! The biggest and best news is the following:
– A Desert-Themed 5-Pack that appears to include:
Zartan (possibly)
Law & Order
Dial Tone (Female)
Repeater
Footloose
Other new product has been revealed as the very popular “Battle Stations” from back in the vintage days. Some details are fuzzy, but the following battle stations were visible:
Surveillance Port (with movie themed Tele-Viper)
LAW (that appears to come with Tripwire)
MMS in the crimson “SMS” color scheme (that appears to come with Scrap Iron)
Outpost Defender (that appears to come with Roadblock…a Roadblock with the Resolute head sculpt!)
Other items, most of which we’ve seen already, included:
Other mysterious items were floating around as well, like an apparent repaint or variant of “The Doctor” in a white labcoat.
Keep in mind this information is all second hand with no image verification as of yet, but it at least gives us something to go by as we wait for the big reveal on Thursday!
Well, the Colosseum online store is what you’re looking for. They’ve got the musical score for sale here, and bundled in with that are four preview clips you can listen to! Very moody, but high quality stuff…not cheesy at all, and very atmospheric.
It was pretty obvious from the first preview we saw that Sideshow’s next 12″ offering was going to be the G.I. Joe Top Sergeant, Duke. Well, Sideshow Collectibles confirms this today with a great look sneak preview!
Pre-orders begin July 31st, don’t miss it! And while you’re at it, take a chug of this delicious Heavy Water…
MSGulfCoast G.I. Joe Collectors’ Club admin tkprime has come through with some very nice scans of the various stickers and diorama pieces that come with the new Pit playset. Apparently some folks have expressed concern over missing sticker sheets and missing dio parts, so these scans are now available for folks who need them. A big thanks to tkprime for going through the trouble, you can see the pictures mirrored below.
Todd, photography wizard, and the admin of Magnum6Delta has posted a great thread on JoeSightings.com with some very nice clear images of the Assault on COBRA Island 7-Pack. He has also graciously allowed me to host the images below!
