Stuff like this is truly the reason social media exists… taking one family’s struggles and turning into a full blown tribute to two young heroes who achieve greatness…all while being narrated by Flint and Lady Jaye!
Paul over on Facebook let the G.I. Joe Discussion Group know about his young son’s early life battling cancer. Given very grim chances for survival at only two years old, this young man overcame the illness and has now been a cancer survivor for five years.
Every year Paul makes a movie poster tribute to celebrate his son’s conquest over the disease, but this year he took it one step further. Bringing his younger sister into the action, he compiled a fantastic four-minute video chronicling the two young warriors, now known as “The Silence and The Darkness”! Not only that, but Bill Ratner (Flint) and Mary MacDonald-Lewis (Lady Jaye) lent their considerable vocal talents on narration.
This was an amazing video to watch. Kudos to Paul and his family, and thanks for sharing this great tribute to two young fighters.

To better mesh with the Kindle Worlds format, I broke up my book-length novel G.I. Joe: The Price of Peace into three smaller, more digestible chunks. Book Two was posted to Kindle Worlds yesterday
!
As always, I thank everyone for their great support for this endeavor… Book One seems to have been received quite well, and here’s hoping people liked it enough to purchase Book Two. Check out the banners below for each! Book Three should round off the novel in the next 7 – 10 days or so. Don’t forget, if you’re so inclined, a review would be terrific, too.
Thanks again!
Book One (Snake Bite)
Book Two (Counter Strike)

Good morning!
Already it seems the reaction and response to my G.I. Joe novel The Price of Peace
on Amazon has been really good. At one point I was the #5 best seller in my Kindle Worlds category, and seem to be one of a couple leaders in the club house in the G.I. Joe “World”. I really appreciate everyone’s support! The feedback I’ve received so far has been very kind and very humbling, and while I know that Kindle Worlds is more or less glorified fanfic, I have to admit, as someone who has been an aspiring writer and author for my entire life, it feels pretty neat to have an actual “Author Page” on Amazon. So anyone who has supported the work thus far, thank you VERY much. Honestly.
Along those lines, if you have enjoyed The Price of Peace, either now or in the past, please consider leaving me a review. Reviews really play strongly into the Amazon search matrix, and if folks could just take a couple minutes of their time and review Part 1 of the Price of Peace trilogy
, that would be excellent.
Meanwhile, I am currently working on the formatting for Part 2, and hope to have that posted early next week with Part 3 following shortly there after.
Once again, thanks to everyone for their support on this, it’s kind of a dream come true…Check out The Price of Peace banner below, and thanks again.

Anyone who went to JoeCon is pretty familiar with the Austin Toy Museum, as they had some pretty incredible dioramas on display as well as some great custom vehicles of the Cobra airship from Sunbow and other really great tributes to G.I. Joe’s past history.
With a desire to take those skills and put them to use in the Austin, TX community, a Kickstarter has opened up for the Austin Toy Museum! With a bunch of real, authentic, diehard G.I. Joe fans at the helm, this looks like a great project to support, even if your outside the Austin community. Lots of great rewards are out there and up for grabs, so hit up the Kickstarter today and throw some support their way.
