GeneralsJoes reviews Figure Subscription Service Quarrel and Nano B.A.T.

Come on, I don’t need to put a spoiler warning up there do I?  These figures were shipped a few weeks ago, and I’m figuring by this point everyone knows what the second installment of the FSS was.  Continuing on my week-long review frenzy, the latest two G.I. Joe Collectors’ Club Figure Subscription Service figures have been added to the review archive!

GeneralsJoes Reviews G.I. Joe: Retaliation Wave 2 Firefly

Continuing on the G.I. Joe: Retaliation review marathon, today I finish up my Wave 2 reviews with none other than the Cobra Saboteur, Firefly!  The only Firefly figure being released complete with Ray Stevenson’s noggin, he also comes complete with a florescent green jacket and semi-transparent arms!  Considering how much I love my 90’s Joes, this was a bonus, not a detraction.  😉

GeneralsJoes reviews G.I. Joe: Retaliation Wave 2 Flint

While the “Ultimate” Flint is still a ways off, we have a Flint available in Wave 2 of the G.I. Joe: Retaliation line.  Yes, he’s just a repaint of the version 1 Duke with a new head, but there are some merits to this figure as well.  Enough merits to buy this one instead of the upcoming “Ultimate” version?

GeneralsJoes Reviews G.I. Joe: Retaliation Wave 2 Storm Shadow

As March, 2013 nears we can expect G.I. Joe: Retaliation figures to start hitting harder and heavier.  Wave 2 has just started blasting across the country, and I’ve begun the review process.  First up in the second wave is Storm Shadow.

Not the most auspicious beginning to the Wave 2 reviews, but for better or worse, you can check him out at the G.I. Joe: Retaliation review page, or linked below.

GeneralsJoes reviews first two GIJCC Figure Subscription Service figures

We are two shipments deep into the Figure Subscription Service, and I’m finally getting some reviews in order.  It was a dead time for so long with G.I. Joe items and reviews that I’m going to have to get myself back into the swing of things here.

Between the FSS and the sudden appearances of G.I. Joe: Retaliation and MicroForce product, things might get a little bit busier ’round here.

The FSS Reviews will all be found in my Collectors’ Club review area, and I’ve also linked them below.  Pretty sure the first two are public knowledge by now, aren’t they?  It has been almost a month…

GeneralsJoes Reviews the D & J Toys Falcon and Viper Gliders

I’ve talked about D & J Toys on the site before, mostly focusing on their very cool Rise of Cobra PIT companion set, which took all of the cardboard pieces and reconstructed them into actual styrene components.

Now, I had a chance to get my hands on their Falcon and Viper Glider reconstructions, and came away really impressed.  These are very vintage in style, yet a lot more durable than you might be used to.

Check out the review in my Miscellaneous section, or just hit up the direct link below.  Good stuff from another great fan-based project!
