GeneralsJoes Reviews final 2 Target Exclusive Vehicle Sets

No longer “canceled”, the third wave of “Target Exclusive” vehicle sets are now hitting Ross Stores nationwide (well…for folks unlike me who actually have one within 350 miles, anyway).
Thankfully I have some very kind readers who have extended their generosity and allowed me to get my full of these vehicle sets at killer prices.  I reviewed two of them yesterday, and today I will add the final two to the Pursuit of Cobra Review Page.  Check out the links below.

GeneralsJoes Reviews Target… errr… Ross Exclusive Vehicle Packs

Well, not all of them today, but I at least got two of them done.  The other two should be up tomorrow or the day after.

GeneralsJoes Reviews IDW G.I. Joe #25

So the end of “Season One” is coming near…  I’m not sure I’m fully prepared for this new “Season” format, but it is certainly an interesting twist.  Taking each issue as an “episode” and resetting the title so to speak every 2 years is a very interesting tact.  Some will say it’s a sales grab, and maybe it is to a certain extent, but I think it’s also designed to draw in new readers who might only jump on board with a new “#1”.
I’ve certainly made my feelings known about the pacing of this title pretty much from day one, how is it coming along now that the end of the season is upon us?  Better.  Certainly better.

GeneralsJoes Reviews G.I. Joe: Cobra #11

What can I say?  IDW seems to be on a roll this month…  Hama’s G.I. Joe: Real American Hero title was fantastic this month, the mainline Joe title has shown a direct uptick, I’ve been deeply entrenched in G.I. Joe: Origins, and it’s been terrific seeing Chuckles thrust back into the spotlight during the G.I. Joe: Cobra title.
One thing has become quite clear during this secondary run of G.I. Joe: Cobra…they’re making a concerted effort to introduce new and interesting Cobra characters throughout the title’s run, and they seem to be quite interested in sticking with the second tier characters.  Already we’ve seen Croc Master and Cobra La, and now with Issue #11, we get a look at a very different Big Boa.
How does it all work?  Click the Read the Rest of this Entry link below for the skinny.

GeneralsJoes reviews G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra Shock Trooper

So how will you use this figure?  An updated blueshirt?  A Cobra urban assault specialist who compliments the Alley-Viper corps?  From a recent article in the G.I. Joe Club Newsletter John Warden seems to indicate this is an upgrade to the traditional blueshirt, though in some ways he almost comes off a bit too realistic for my tastes.
That’s not to say this is a bad figure, though…  you can check out the full review on the Pursuit of Cobra Review Page, or click the link below:

GeneralsJoes reviews G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra Wave 3 Duke

One more day, one more review of a G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra Wave 3 figure.  I’ve already covered Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes, this time around it’s super rocket-launcher Duke!  Yes, he comes with a ridiculous shoulder-mounted ICBM system.  But somehow he still manages to be a bad ass figure.
