I’m really enjoying what IDW is doing with these titles. I appreciate the efforts to tie-in the various mini-series into the regular on-going.
Huh, well then. I guess that alternate cover confirms Storm Shadow will be showing up in Cobra II.
I just got the trades of the main title and the Origins book. I love them! Seriously, Origins rocked hard, and while I’m just a little into the main Chuck Dixon book, I’m sucked in. There seems to have been a lot of criticism with these, but I’m really digging them. Can’t wait till next month when the Cobra trade hits.
Good stuff.
I was at my local comic book shop on Saturday looking for the GI Joe: Cobra trade (didn’t realize that it’s not released until November), and the owner said that GI Joe is easily one of his top sellers, along with Dark Avengers. I said, “huh, that’s kind of surprising,” and he responded “Eh, not really….there’s a lot of GI Joe fans out there.”
🙂
Then I bought a 25th Bazooka they had for $5, just to reinforce the point.
