I’m between seminars at the moment, but wanted to at least get the slideshow images posted from the 2013 Product demonstration. Many of these items will be in the display and I will get those images posted throughout the day as well, but wanted to get this AWESOME stuff up first. Highlights:
- Micro Force Quarter-Sized collectible figures in blind bags. Over 80 figures to collect and trade. Foot holes are compatible with normal vehicle foot pegs for display!
- Alpha sized Night Landing vehicle with Cobra Eel. Cobra Eel figure is the canceled Rise of Cobra Ripcord which is extremely detailed, highly accessorized and uses the figure design that was sculpted to resemble the Sigma 6 Sigma Suits
- Night Viper is moved up to Wave 3
- Very movie accurate “Ultimate Firefly” with mini-HISS in Wave 3
- Very movie accurate “Cobra Trooper” (Cobra Combat Ninja) in Wave 3
- Movie accurate “Ultimate Duke” (with Data-Viper Predator Drone) in Wave 3
- Comic accurate/toy accurate Snake Eyes ’85 w/ Timber totally newly tooled in Wave 4
- Crimson Guard in Wave 5 with customizable label sheet

More details as they emerge! Follow me on Twitter for up-to-the-minute Tweets and posts from the SyFy panel and the GIJCC panel later today.
I do not think those micro figures will move well. I am sure most collectors out there will avoid them.
I do hope I am in a store the week the Firefly with HISS kitten is available, I would like one of those with out the scalper mark up.
HiSS Kitten should be it’s official name.
I am very much looking forward to seeing the this line, hopefully with the delay it can be on NZ shelves in 2013. Hopefully. If not… importing.
Some seriously great stuff-a-coming.
As for the Night Landing Craft, here have a dingy, a ton-o-guns and a Eel… I’m loving it.
GIJooe Micro Force? my kids are getting ALL of them!
P.S. Thanks for all the convention coverage.
Loving the Crimson Guard custom label thing!
These are some seriously awesome figures. Why in the hell would Hasbro put up with all the ass chewing when they had these on the horizon? Everyone was up in arms over wave 1 and they could have simply said, “we plan on doing ultimate versions for the collectors.” The big missile launching guys are for kids and the ultimates are for adults and collectors. The concept makes sense but I think they could have saved themselves some heartache if they would have let people know.
I don’t know what’s worse the fact they used a Magic Mike poster or the fact I was able to spot Kevin Nash in the back. I do hope that SE and Timber comes with a sword and backpack like the classic wave 2 version. Other than that those figures really look sweet.

As my English language impaired nephew would say “this is the shit!” awesome looking stuff, just awesome. That movie accurate trooper alone will cost me a small fortune.

Ultimate Timber still doesn’t have a moving jaw? But I’m psyched to see the Night Landing come back. Got rid of my ’85 version and have regretted it. And is Firefly’s pet the old spring loaded HISS launcher? I like that Cobra Trooper’s alt head like the Blue Ninja head from the recent ARAH comics. But, man, does Hasbro not know the mini-figures are gonna bomb as bad as the Combat Heroes?
MONOEYE HELMET!! Um, I mean, lots of awesome stuff! But seriously…NEED that mono eye helmet!! Need. A deep need.
These figures are very nice. I hesitate to say this, but I think the film delay HAS given Hasbro time to beef up the toy ranks. Looks like Wave 2 and 3 (especially Wave 3 and 4) are going to be different than originally planned or that places had for pre-order (Wave 3 originally looked like 2+3 + wave 1 Snake Eyes).
Finally a G.I.Joe toy coming with a footlocker
Do you know how many little plastic weapons I keep on a altoids tin!
Alright…
Has anyone asked what they have planned until next year?!?
I was hoping the CG & Night Viper would get released this year because they aren’t really “movie” figures.
Just like I’ve been saying right along… there just isn’t enough time to get anything in production between now and next year. What you see is what you get.
