Just arrived at SmallJoes, the fourth wave of G.I. Joe: The Pursuit of Cobra! Every one of these figures is great, so I highly recommend picking up the set of four. A great price and there are no bad figures here.
All of the links are below:
- Full Assortment of Four
- “Jungle Assault” Shadow Tracker
- “Desert Battle” Skydive
- “City Strike” Low-Light
- “City Strike” Destro
My figures should be arriving in my mailbox today. Can’t wait to tear into these things and get reviews posted! Keep your eyes on my Pursuit of Cobra Review Page to see when the reviews get posted!
Had my set of 4 preordered through SmallJoes, they arrived yesterday. Justin, you’re gonna love them 🙂 Best POC Wave yet.
well….i was considering ordering the two i want from that wave from smalljoes…..skydive and lowlight….
$6.99 for skydive? okay….
$18.99!! for lowlight?!?
hey smalljoes….
heres my ass, and you can kiss it.
Mine (4-pack full set) are ordered through BBTS. Still on pre-order. Hrmmm!!!
In lighter news, I just got three AV’s, new Duke and SE and a VAMP from Hasbro today, so there’s that!
Is anyone using a different head for SkyDive? I want to use either Mutt or a blk haired RedStar–but then I would be tempted to call him DropZone 🙂

Unfortunately, if you go back to SmallJoes.com right now, Low-Light? Sold out. Even at $18.99. In just a few days.
They should of charged more.
Now they’re in a position where they are unable to supply a full set for the true GIJoe fan which is bad for them.
Selling a figure for as much money as they can get is just common sense though. Especially considering small busninesses like this have to counter the product they get left with that doesn’t sell.
Every business should have the right to ask whatever price they want for the product they sell. (With the exception of fundamental life-preserving products). You maintain every right not to buy it if you think it’s too much, which you did. Obviously the market easily supports their decision to ask $18.99 for Low-Light, so it’s a fair market price.
On a side note, while I believe the above is true, I would never pay that price either. Once the initial “OMG! I gotta have it NOW!” crowd has been taken care of, he’ll be availeble at more reasonable prices on store shelves or E-Bay.
@hawkwinter
uh….yeah…i understand how the system works.
thanks for the Jr. economics lesson nonetheless.
they can still kiss my ass.
lol….ok,ok…I meant no disrespect.
tis all good hawk…..
you know…i understand the idea that some just cant wait. hell, i, the king of “i find everything” pulled the ebay trigger at a higher price on the desert RAM than i said i would instead of waiting to maybe find it at ROSS…still havnt BTW. i get the idea that some online stores take advantage of that….and i also get the idea that theyre not target and they get stuck with crappy storm shadows after the shock troopers have sold. i dont blame them for asking higher prices for certain figs.
but what i cant understand is this….
our biggest lesson last year, i think, came from ROSS. (and to lesser degrees, TJMaxx and Marshalls) STUFF SHOWS UP!!!
not saying that i would skip anything in the hopes that ROSS comes thru…but look at what weve seen this year at retail that we werent supposed to see.
target wave 3
cobra island sets
stingers and arctic hissessess
HoH
extreme environment sets
Lowlight, apparently quite the piece of fried gold, is a mainstream, retail release. he will be at target, and a month later, if we’re lucky, walmart and maybe by christmas, TRU…(for $8Fn.50!)
$25 shipped…..
i just dont see it hawk, i just CANT see it.
Personally, id like to order mine from hasbro…fair prices…pretty fair shipping. granted,i dont get to pick paint jobs like that but, with gas prices biting at $3’s ass, i just assume get them sent to the old HQ. its more fun opening a box from the mail than a bag from target anyway.
Eh, living up here in Canada and not having many stores that sell Joes, I’m used to ordering online and that means limited availability and shipping costs. Lots and lots of shipping costs.
So for me, $25 for one of the best GIJoe figures ever made. No problem.
But if there was a store nearby that would sell them at MSRP and actually had them in stock (unlike my Walmart) yeah, I would never shell out that kind of money. Agreed.
People always want what’s new, or hard to find. The nature of collectors.
I can’t recommend this enough: Just buy the complete case, then sell off the figures you don’t want. You’ll save money in the short and long run.
