Toys “R” Us appears to be offering a landmark sale again, with G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA figures going on sale 2 for $9.99 yet again…not only that, but they’re offering a free $10.00 G.I. Joe gift card for every $30.00 you spend. This could get ridiculous!
Thanks to ntfrceshockwave from HissTank.com for the info! Now if only I had a local TRU…

Has-to-be-con-weekend! Joking aside, good timing by TRU. Hopefully the kiddos will see the movie and want a Duke and Destro figure. No one said anything about the Joe game being on sale too. Getting $10 back on a purchase of 6 figures seems almost too good to be true. TRU is making money somewhere. I guess it demonstrates the profit margins in these figures.
Nice to see that Toys R Us is behind the line like this.
It may be to good to be true. Notice the ad says “These” and has the 3 skus. After the last sale they are probably overstocked on these 2 and have more BBQs than fireflys so they threw him in to give some incentive to buy the other 2 peg warmers.
Well, the ad for the last sale had Duke and Breaker’s pictures and SKUS, and that still applied to all single cards, so this sale should cover all single cards too.
JT, My wife used to work for TRU, and when a TRU ad says “these” it typically means just that – only the items pictured. While the last ad did picture only two figures, it didn’t have the word “these” in the ad text. Now it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to have a 2 for $10 sale on only 3 figures, and none of them troop builders, so maybe this is one of those rare cases where that word was inserted into the ad incorrectly, but don’t be surprised if that isn’t the case.
