A good way to start the week! The G.I. Joe Collectors Club has revealed a first look at the FSS 3.0 Muskrat. Using the same parts recipe as the Night Force version, but in more traditional colors, we’re also getting some nice accessory adjustments here, even including a brand new swamp skimmer!
Muskrat was one of my favorite figures with the Nocturnal Fire set, I’m psyched to see him here in the same colors as the ’88 version. Well done, Club! Check out GIJoeClub.com for the latest and greatest FSS news, and I’ve mirrored the image below.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I LOVE that swamp skimmer! Looks like a nice, brand spanking new update to the original, complete with a handle to go with the foot peg. Really awesome.

I knew when I did the layout for Episode 10, it would be a quick one, so with the titles being part of the same concept, I elected to do a “two for one” update today. Also, it celebrates the fact that as of this weekend I have finished principle photography on the Darkness Falls story!
Still a mountain of Photoshop, dialogue, and polish, but the raw photographs themselves are finished. It’s been a long road, but I’m very excited that the time has finally come to share this story that’s been brewing in my head for a few years now. Hopefully it lives up to the hype. With a sale date list of August 13th, items from the G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary line have started showing up on ToysRUs.com. Whether people jumped on them early or if they just haven’t listed everything yet, I’m not sure, but as of this moment, the HEAT Viper/Blowtorch 2 Pack, Low Light/Night Viper 2 Pack, the Cobra Trooper 3 Pack, and the Cobra Wolf are listed for pre-order.

Ever since the Night Force set was revealed a few years ago, fans had been clamoring online for regular versions of the Night Force characters (which is why it seems so strange that many folks are complaining about that very thing happening with the FSS this time around).
One of those characters was Psyche Out.
Well, the Club has revealed the FSS 3.0 Psyche Out today, and he’s a bit different accessory-wise from the Night Force version. He still has the wrist radars and the hand-held, but he no longer has the PoC Recondo backpack (which frankly was a fantastic touch by the Club for the Con version) and he comes with a Zartan backpack instead.
