Big thanks to GeneralsJoes contributor Mysterious Stranger for giving me a virtual “slap upside the head” for some missed details on the Sideshow Collectibles Q & A this morning. While I focused on the two questions that appeared on Tuesday’s slate, I missed the question that had been posed on Monday, and now, we also have a new question for today as well. Heck, they even posted a question from way back in August that I think I might have missed. Many fans (myself included) will be extremely pleased with what Sideshow revealed in Monday’s Q & A:
The 1986 Viper is getting the 12-inch treatment for a fact, and the twins are good possibilities (but a little further down the road).”
Yes, Sideshow has revealed that they will be doing a 12″ Cobra Viper. ROCK. As for their other details…

Marine, eh? Does that mean Gung Ho, Torpedo, or Shipwreck? Any of those three is almost certainly a must buy for me.
And a Viper..oh dear. I have promised the wife I will NOT buy any “troops” from the Sideshow line…but….but…
And desert, unless they are speaking of Dusty, must confirm the release of Cobra Desert Troopers? Not gonna buy ’em if so, but glad for collectors who do want them.

I would assume by marine they’re talking about sailors and the like. While I would LOVE to get a Sideshow Torpedo I think Shipwreck is more likely. Though I didn’t expect to see a Red Ninja in the line either so Torpedo could very well be on the list.
Also, side note. Just got the email that Beachhead is coming in the next couple of weeks. I still need to bust out Flint so I might just wait until Wayne gets here and open them both together.
I got my email about Beachhead as well. It’ll be my first Sideshow figure, so I’ll let everyone know what I think of it when it arrives!
