Hot diggity. I don’t even know how to express how awesome I think this figure is. The Terror Drome posted a very nice pictorial to their Scoop’s Dark Room just tonight, and I’d type up my thoughts, but I gotta go clean the drool out of my keyboard.

So glad Dusty is getting this awesome upgrade. The 25th version was possibly the worst 25th “upgrade” of a classic character. It was all wrong and looked like crap. Still can’t bring myself to accept it as part of my classic character collection.
But like most PoC figures, this new Dusty is an awesome new take on a great character.
First of all, he doesn’t come with his SIGNATURE FAMAS machine gun. Fail. Next – where is the cloth that is supposed to drape down from his helmet? Why put it on his back?? Not only that but he DOESNT HAVE the badges from the original figure! Come on, Hasbro. What is he doing with that new mask, anyway? Playing paintball? Oh, and OF COURSE they forgot to include his shoulder straps on this one, too – hopefully they’ll do a running change and fix all these problems.

That’s what someone – somewhere – is thinking, but it’s not me! XD I couldn’t love this figure more if it came with a ten dollar bill inside. He is an awesome desert fighter, and I’m in GAYLOVE his hoodie look. We’re getting married in the fall. 😀
Get a sweet Dusty figure and a spare helmet for custom figures? Sold.
I’m thrilled they got finally rid of that stupid helmet “hijab”, and they buried that redundant and boring 1985 aesthetic. This is a great update, and I’m very pleased to see that Dusty has finally evolved for the 21st century.

Dusty looks outstanding! The helmet variations are great. I really like the KRISS Super-V .45 ACP submachine he comes with. But for desert combat he should have an assault rifle. Marauder Inc./Broken Arrow Toys/Slayer Design Studios to the rescue!
I believe I’ll be using the helmet for Rampart, and the rest makes an awesome Dusty. Great figure, another well done PoC figure!!
