Coming off the reviews of Waves 4 & 5, I made a little road trip a short while ago and scooped up the two latest exclusives from Target and Toys “R” Us. I’m still working on the Target Rescue Mission review, but I’ve posted the one for the Toys “R” Us Attack on the Pit on my Rise of Cobra Review Page! There are a TON of pictures in this review…more than you’ll see anywhere else.
Enjoy.
An even better deal coming up in November at TRU, only $19.99!
(Sale is Nov 1-26th)
Hey, Justin, could you do me favor, please? I´d like to see this Jungle Pit Trooper wiht AOCI Recondo head (and hat). Woul be possible to take a pic?
Thanks!
Nice review. Not a bad set but I’m on the fence on this one. The Vipers are nice and you get a vehicle. But I’m not a fan of the Mole Pod and I’m not interested in RoC Duke and Ripcord.
Nice review but I’m still on the fence about this one. I’m just not a fan of the Mole Pod or of RoC Duke and Ripcord. The Vipers are cool, especially the Commander, but I just got RoC Grunt and I’m trying to figure if there’s enough of a difference between him and the Pit Trooper to justify adding him.
The review is pretty much what I thought you’d think of it. Good figs overall, but the price makes the set outstanding.
I really like the Neo-Viper Officer myself. I think he’s a huge selling point for this set (assuming you want to army build some Neo-Vipers and need a commander for them). My only small quibble with the set is the weapons the Joes have. They didn’t necessarily need more weapons, it just would have been nice to see a little more variety in what they got. However, that can easily be fixed with weapon swaps, so not a big deal overall.
Fortunately there’s always Maruader Bingo.
Get this one if you have not. It actually a nice set, but even better for the kids.
Remember the good ol’ sigma 6 days? when we got the same basic figures with great accesories? Well, this isnt anything like it; this is pure repainted horrible figures, thank god i don’t buy these RoC toys.
