New Era Cap, the leading headwear designer and manufacturer, is proud to announce the release of the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero cap series in conjunction with the highly anticipated “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” movie that hits theaters on Friday, August 7th. This new signature 59FIFTY cap collection draws inspiration from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, featured in the upcoming movie and in the popular G.I Joe comic book series.

In total there are four caps in this original 59FIFTY collector’s series available for purchase. Two of the caps feature the trademark COBRA – the symbol of the fictional nemesis of the G.I. Joe team. The first is an all black fitted cap with the iconic red COBRA on the front. The second cap is yellow fitted hat featuring a red COBRA on the front with a distinctive green snakeskin brim. The final two caps in the series are known as the “Snake Eyes” collector’s caps. Each of these multi-colored caps brings to life the classic images and characters of the original G.I. Joe comic series to life in unique design patterns created by the world famous New Era design team.

The G.I. Joe Caps are available exclusively at www.finishline.com and www.neweracap.com (starting August 6th) and will retail for $35.99-$37.99.

I gotta say, those look pretty cool.  I’m really loving the yellow COBRA sigil with the snakeskin lid.  Very unique!
