Rhode Island ComicCon kicks off today in Providence, Rhode Island, and Boss Fight Studio is there already breaking some news.
Over on the Boss Fighters Facebook Group, Troy Osgood shared some images from the Boss Fight booth featuring artwork for an upcoming Kickstarter for a Vitruvian HACKS Horse! We first saw some rough test shots for this horse at New Jersey Collectors Con, but things seem to have come a very long way since then. According to the display at the booth, there is a Kickstarter planned for March.
The horse will apparently have Pegasus wings, a unicorn and dark unicorn head, various saddles, and will even be HACKS blank compatible to make freaking centaurs.
Lord have mercy.
Check out the info at the Boss Fighters Facebook Group and see the mirrored images below.

Life has been a bit crazy lately, but I’m trying to get back on the horse. Today I’m reviewing the latest release from Boss Fight Studio’s terrific Vitruvian HACKS line, Cerisier, the Sakura Elven Assassin!
A great figure with an awesome backstory, and a pleasant surprise to boot, appearing exclusively on BossFightShop.com.

When Boss Fight revealed the first look at their upcoming Skeleton Warrior, they included a little clue with their images, with what looked to be an official store image of the Skeleton labeled “Basic”. That started the rumor mill churning a bit, and today that rumor mill has been confirmed.
Boss Fight Studio revealed the first three figures in their new “Vitruvian BASIC” series today, a (hopefully) ongoing line of reduced paint apps and reduced accessory figures at a reduced price. Retailing at just 19.99 these three figures will be available for pre-order as of October 22nd at BossFightShop.com!
This is exciting news for army builders as these three figures have a great army building look and feel, and will also provide a less expensive alternative to potential custom material from Series 2. Check out the figures below, and make sure your trigger finger is hovering on October 22nd for these first three figures, then again on October 31st for the VERY limited release of the Skeleton!

Some exciting and unexpected news from our friends at Boss Fight Studio today as they announced a new “Evil Skeleton” action figure that will be sold on BossFightShop.com as of October 31st!
It’s a nicely weathered skeleton with some terrific accessories, but even more interesting is one of the images that goes along with the info (posted exclusively on Infinite Earth).
If you check out the product photo you’ll see the Evil Skeleton is labeled as a “HACKS Basic” figure. Could this be the start of a new product line of figures with fewer accessories and dialed down deco? More news to come on this front, I’m sure, but for now, check out the great images of the upcoming Evil Skeleton below.
Limited to just a few hundred, the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Evil Skeleton has all the same great features and functions that fans loved about the original, but will be available for just $19.99.
So, whether you’re looking to recreate the classic Skeleton Dance, or unleash an army of Skeleton Warriors that would make Todd Armstrong nervous, the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Evil Skeleton is sure to be right up your alley!
Look for it to arrive on the Boss Fight Studio web store beginning October 31st.
No Bones About It!

I can’t believe it’s been over a week already since the New Jersey Collectors Con, and what a busy week it’s been. The NJCC Exclusive Blasted Land Orc has hit eBay a few separate times (and is selling through like crazy) and Boss Fight has gotten all caught up on pre-orders, so Series 2 Wave 1 items are IN STOCK and ready for immediate shipping!
- Knight of Accord
- Orc Conqueror
- Aiyana
- Lacuna
Not only that, but I’ve got a great exclusive look at some of the slides from the Boss Fight Studio panel at NJCC, including the first look at an upcoming Gargoyle figure from Wave 4. These are great, high-res images that provide an awesome sneak peek at input art for Wave 4 as well as the reveals for the Series 3 Space theme.
Huge thanks to Trina and the people at Boss Fight for allowing me to share these images. Enjoy and make sure you run straight to BossFightShop.com to grab Wave 1 of the Fantasy figures in stock and ready to ship.
