That’ll teach me to crash early last night! Thinking that the Gentle Giant 12″ vintage figures represented the G.I. Joe news of Preview Night for SDCC, I logged off early last night, then woke up to the intel that Kre-O Wave 5 was revealed for the first time!
Looking like another fantastic line up by Hasbro, this fifth series gives us the following mini figure Kre-Ons:

- Bullet Man (!!!)
- Lifeline
- Outback
- Stinger Driver
- Dial Tone
- Techno Viper
- Ninja Ku
- Leatherneck
- Tele Viper
- Iceberg
- Battle Damage B.A.T.
The info and images come from HISSTank.com and Toy Ark. Along with Series 5, we also got some great in person looks at the upcoming Terror Drome, which looks… frankly… like the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life, perhaps including my two children.

I know the reviews have been few and far between as I focus on the Dio-Story, but I’m hoping over the next few weeks to get some more stuff out there. I’ve currently got the Hot Toys Roadblock, a few excellent Acid Rain items, and a few new wonderful items from the great guys at Codename: Iowa which should hopefully provide some reading material throughout the next month or two.
Starting it all off, though, is the latest assortment of G.I. Joe Kre-O items! I’ve seen some questions about identifying the Kre-O releases, so I’ve updated the Kre-O SuperPage to include all of the latest images and assortment information to reflect the new additions.
Hit up the G.I. Joe Kre-O Super Page and scroll down to Wave 3, where you’ll see the two new waves announced yesterday as well as the boxed sets.
At some point I’ll probably do up a 50th Anniversary one as well, but it doesn’t feel like there’s quite enough details released to warrant that as of yet.
