The time has come! Last year we brought you Welcome to Wolf Squad, a novella based on the 2015 series of G.I. Joe and COBRA action figures… now we bring you Nerves of Stone, the follow-up Novella to our Wolf Squad adventure from last year.
Familiar characters make their returns and some new characters get introduced…each and every member of the 2016 G.I. Joe and COBRA roster appears!
When a new G.I. Joe recruit goes missing while investing a top secret COBRA research lab in Alaska, G.I. Joe’s special operations Wolf Squad team gets deployed to see what’s up. They get far more than they bargained for and when G.I. Joe reinforcements arrive, a long kept secret gets revealed…
Now, for a limited time, get an exclusive sneak preview of this upcoming novella! Sign up for the World of Wolf’s Head Publishing and you’ll get immediate access to the Prologue and first chapter of this novella, due for release in early 2017. This will be available NOWHERE else.
As an added bonus you can check out the first three chapters of my original novel The Fog of Dreams and get access to a Top Secret Research Paper outlining the Operation: Harvest story. If you’re a fan of G.I. Joe, I really think you’ll enjoy this story as well. Lots of similarities as one might expect.

With some newly found spare time at GeneralsJoes we’ve put together some video reviews for figures from FSS 4.0! Tiger Force Outback and Sneak Peek video reviews have been posted to the GeneralsJoes YouTube Channel and are ready for viewing.
In recent months, comic artist John Royle has put together some amazing G.I. Joe covers, and just revealed was his retailer incentive cover for Revolutionaries #4 from IDW Publishing.
This cover looks just as exciting as the other work he’s been doing, which is really saying something! Check out this fantastic cover and the comic details below. Fantastic stuff from John Royle.

I’ve had the video reviews up for a while, but finally I’ve had some extra time to assemble the written reviews as well!
Hop on over to my G.I. Joe: 50th Anniversary Review Page to check out the latest reviews for Duke and Tombstone. You can also click the links below to go straight to the reviews. Enjoy!
Yes, the review sections have been neglected in the past months, but I hope to play some catch up this week.
Starting it off is a look at the Virtuvian HACKS Crystal Clear Blanks, the new transparent blanks that were released a short while ago and have proven to be an excellent addition to the Blank library.
Big thanks to skinny over on Twitter who has forwarded some images of upcoming Prime 1 G.I. Joe statues for Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes which were apparently revealed at Tokyo ComicCon. By all accounts, Prime 1 offerings are not inexpensive, but the detailing and sculpt work on these two statues is pretty incredible.
Check out the mirrored images below as well as embedded YouTube video. The images mostly come from the Prime 1 Instagram account. You can see two different versions of each character below. Pretty awesome looking stuff.
We are officially neck deep inside IDW Publishing’s Revolution roller coaster, and just today, the G.I. Joe: Revolution One Shot hits comic shops! It’s a Revolution story focused on the G.I. Joe side of the house, continuing IDW’s existing universe, but weaving it into this over-arcing Revolution story.
So how did it work? Click the Read More link for the full review!
I know I’ve been lagging a little bit behind on my reviews for the most recent G.I. Joe product, but now, with huuuuuuuge thanks to Chris from The Full Force podcast, we have a video review for the Duke vs. Tombstone 2 Pack! This video was a huge undertaking as Chris combed through years of history to look at nearly every single version of Duke that exists.
Crazy.
Anyway, hit up the GeneralsJoes YouTube Page for the latest review, and I promise written reviews (and more video ones, too!) are on the way.
Holy cow, this is what happens when you don’t post a new episode for a while… the What’s on Joe Mind podcast has posted a new episode of their G.I. Joe podcast, and it’s a big ‘un!
FIVE FREAKING HOURS of content crammed into this tiny audio file, encompassing hours of recording, editing, and production work. Big props to all the work done behind the scenes, and I hope everyone enjoys this latest mammoth episode.
Check it out on our Podbean page or embedded below.
ZOMG! It’s a REAL episode!! Yes, the gang brings you almost FIVE hours of Joe Related Talk…and other subjects…and pointless tangents. Justin was having “family time” so joining us for substitution host duty is Chris McLeod of The Full Force. Since this is our first show since JoeCon (yes, we know it has been that long, but we all have real lives we must live folks), we spend a SIGNIFICANT amount of time in the news doing a day-by-day review of all that went down in Loveland. We also catch up on other topics in the news…all which is old news now, but you can hear what we have to say instead of reading it on a forum or in social media. We also talk to IDW GI Joe artist extraordinaire, Tom Feister as we check in to what projects he has cooking for the rest of the year. All that plus the Joes of 2006 and Inappropriate Cosplay Emails to Joe Colton. We know you will love this new segment! We’ll fill you in with our lives in the real world on our next episode, but for now, enjoy this MEGA show…this should last you a couple of days on your commutes…unless you have a long commute and in that case we hope it makes your trip go by that much more rapidly. Thanks for thinking of us! We appreciate your listener-ship!!
We interrupt this minor GeneralsJoes hiatus with an important announcement!
Boss Fight Studio has been hinting at this for a little while now, and finally, late last week they announced it officially – new Bucky O’Hare action figures are coming from our favorite action figure company!
That’s right, the fine folks at Boss Fight Studio have inked a deal with Continuity to produce action figures based on the classic 80s toyline and animated series Bucky O’Hare! Co-created by Larry Hama, Neal Adams, and Michael Golden, Bucky O’Hare was a prominent fixture for a short period of time back in those golden days where unfortunately a barrage of other media and action figure lines somewhat overshadowed the greatness of the property.
We will now all get an opportunity to see just how great the line could be with brand new Bucky O’Hare action figures from Boss Fight Studio! This is fantastic news, not just for those of us who consider Boss Fight friends, but for fans of 80s toylines in general. I can’t wait to see what develops! Keep watching BossfightStudio.com and BossFightShop.com for some of the latest information and updates.
