- Both the Crimson Guard and Snake Eyes were made available for pre-order during the Wal-Mart Collectors Con in October, 2022
- The retro Crimson Guard has a much brighter red color that is more similar to the vintage figure aesthetic in comparison to the darker appearance of the main retail release. He also has a silver mask rather than the matte black of the regular retail version
- The retro Crimson Guard and Snake Eyes saw some very limited release in Europe in late 2022, though it’s expected that wider distribution will occur in early 2023
