- Crimson Alley-Viper was revealed as part of the Walmart Collectors Con in July, 2023. The figure appeared in image form the day before it went up for pre-order
- This figure is part of a wave of Walmart exclusives that seems designed around dark energon retrieval with some tendrils into the Transformers universe. The biohazard symbol prevalent on the Alley-Viper seems to support this.
- As with the other Crimson-based figures, the shade of red on this figure matches the shade of red on the Crimson Guard, the Crimson B.A.T., the Crimson Viper and the upcoming Crimson Strike Team PulseCon exclusive
- The paint scheme for this figure was developed in homage to the Pursuit of COBRA Alley-Viper released in the 4″ scale.
