G.I. JOE Mission Briefing Planned for San Diego ComicCon Attendees

Participants to Receive Classified Information from Paramount, Hasbro and EA Design and Marketing Teams

G.I. JOE fans attending San Diego Comic-Con will get a chance to gain clearance to a covert “briefing” this week as Paramount, Hasbro and EA teams working on the movie, toy, and video game line present a special G.I. JOE panel for Comic-Con attendees. The session will take place on Thursday, July 23rd, from 11:30AM-12:30PM at the San Diego Convention Center’s Room 7AB. Aaron Archer (Hasbro Design), Jeff Labovitz (Hasbro Marketing) Michelino Paolino (Hasbro Design) and Jason Enos (EA Marketing) will be on hand to discuss the 50-year G.I. JOE legacy and give fans a sneak peak at what’s ahead for everyone’s favorite American hero, including the upcoming release of the G.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra movie, the new toy line hitting shelves, the new video game and much more. The panel will also include Q&A time, as well as some special guests G.I. JOE fans won’t want to miss!

The G.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra video game hits stores this August, and will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable (PSP) as well as mobile phones.

HissTank forum member zephon got his hands on the upcoming Bravo class vehicle, the G.I. Joe Dragonhawk XH1 helicopter, and posted some thoughts here.

I love the looks of this thing, but I’ll tell ya, it gets smaller and smaller every time I see it.  Not sure that really bothers me, though, as I don’t mind the whole mini attack copter idea.  I’m a huge fan of the Locust, and as long as you go into it not expecting something the size of the original Dragonfly or Night Attack Chopper, I think you can find plenty to like about this thing.  I especially dig the pop-out side rocket launchers.  That is pure cool.
