Reports are coming in fast and hard about the fourth shipment of the GIJCC Figure Subscription Service! Fortunate folks over on HissTank.com have already reported receiving the latest shipment, and it looks like a great one. I won’t spoil the surprise here, but over on HISSTank.com there are already some great spoiler images.

Most of us are familiar with the work of Mark Cheng at this point, who did a great job with his Operation Red Retrieval fan film, and apparently Joe fans weren’t the only ones who noticed it. G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic architect Larry Hama must have also been impressed as he agreed to work with Cheng on an upcoming independent science fiction and action film Ghost Source Zero.
Hama and Cheng have released the first teaser for this upcoming film and you can see it on YouTube right now!
For fans of G.I. Joe, this looks like a really fun project, and you can bet GeneralsJoes will be right on top of it.
Wow, sad news for fans of Chuck Dixon’s G.I. Joe: Special Missions title as apparently after April, 2014, IDW Publishing will no longer be producing the title. That leaves the main G.I. Joe title as the only “IDW” continuity G.I. Joe ongoing title still telling the story of this new G.I. Joe and Cobra conflict.
It brings to mind the question of how well these books are selling and if there’s enough fan demand to continue bringing IDW’s G.I. Joe to local comic stores on a monthly basis.
