A great little bit of sales news today, as online retailer Entertainment Earth has 40% off all in stock Kre-O building sets!

While they don’t carry the G.I. Joe specific sets, as those are exclusive to Toys “R” Us, they have many other great sets from Battleship, Cityville, and Star Trek which would be awesome compliments for your G.I. Joe display.  Battleship especially has some terrific military elements to it.  Check out the Entertainment Earth Kre-O section, and check out some of the more specific sets below.  Great prices and a really good selection!

G.I. Joe Kre-O Terror Drome is available for Pre-Order at ToysRUs.com!

THE MOMENT OF TRUTH IS UPON US! Ever since it was first revealed at Toy Fair lo so many months ago, us Kre-O fans have been salivating over the upcoming Cobra Terror Drome! Well, finally our desperate cries for help may have been heard, as ToysRUs.com has just listed it for pre-order!

Even better, according to the TRU website, shipping is scheduled for next week. The MSRP is $99.99, and while that is certainly not cheap, considering everything it comes with, I’m finding it really difficult to find an issue with the price.

To say this excites me would be a wild understatement. Check out ToysRUs.com and pre-order that bad boy! Free shipping for orders over $49.99, so it’s just like getting it in the store.

Hasbro reveals G.I. Joe Kre-O Wave 5 at ComicCon!

That’ll teach me to crash early last night! Thinking that the Gentle Giant 12″ vintage figures represented the G.I. Joe news of Preview Night for SDCC, I logged off early last night, then woke up to the intel that Kre-O Wave 5 was revealed for the first time!

Looking like another fantastic line up by Hasbro, this fifth series gives us the following mini figure Kre-Ons:

  • Zarana
  • Bullet Man (!!!)
  • Lifeline
  • Outback
  • Stinger Driver
  • Dial Tone
  • Techno Viper
  • Ninja Ku
  • Leatherneck
  • Tele Viper
  • Iceberg
  • Battle Damage B.A.T.

The info and images come from HISSTank.com and Toy Ark. Along with Series 5, we also got some great in person looks at the upcoming Terror Drome, which looks… frankly… like the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life, perhaps including my two children.

Check out all of these great images below!

GeneralsJoes Reviews G.I. Joe Kre-O Wave 3

I know the reviews have been few and far between as I focus on the Dio-Story, but I’m hoping over the next few weeks to get some more stuff out there.  I’ve currently got the Hot Toys Roadblock, a few excellent Acid Rain items, and a few new wonderful items from the great guys at Codename: Iowa which should hopefully provide some reading material throughout the next month or two.

Starting it all off, though, is the latest assortment of G.I. Joe Kre-O items!  I’ve posted reviews for all three of the new assortments, including the Firebat/Wolverine, the Outpost Defender/Ferret, and Wave 3 of the Mini Figure Kre-Ons.  Check out my G.I. Joe Kre-O Review Section, or just click the direct links below:

Episode 92 of What’s on Joe Mind has it all!

Sorry, Internet, we took a forced sabbatical for a little while as some technical issues nearly wiped out Episode 92 from existence!  Thankfully Gary’s technical wizardry pulled it back from the brink, and we have it ready to go.

This episode is absolutely chock full.  You want to hear about vintage G.I. Joe?  We got Kirk Bozigian for that!  You want to hear about stuff rolling with Boss Fight Studio?  Andrew Franks is actually one of the co-hosts!  You want to hear about some other cool projects from G.I. Joe fans?  Chris Sims and Chad Bowers lay the hammer about Down, Set, Fight!

There is literally something for everyone in this one.  Check out Episode 92 on our Podbean Page, or embedded below, and don’t forget to check the show notes!
