G.I. Joe: Convention Mission Brazil Python Patrol Stinger Guest Review

There aren’t many Conventions that I’ve missed over the past twelve years, but it just so happens that 2011 was one of them.  It was also the year the Collectors Club officially jumped with both feet in the pool into “Modern Era” figure style.  I think this change has served them very well.  Not only do they have a lot more parts to choose from for their figures, but there seems to be a lot more collector demand and much better sell through.

That was certainly true of the Mission Brazil set.  While I was recently able to get my hands on the Python Patrol Stinger (with great help from Jay of CardedHeroes.com), fellow What’s on Joe Mind host Mike wrote this review for me a while ago, and I’m eternally grateful.  A lot of folks don’t realize the amount of time and work that goes into review writing…  it’s not a short “bang it out” type of thing, and for Mike to take his valuable time to do this for me was very awesome of him.

It almost lets me overlook his repeated gut-punches regarding last year’s Super Bowl.  Almost.

All that side, he took some great pictures and did one hell of a write up.  You can check out the Python Patrol Stinger review now linked to my original Mission: Brazil Review (hosted on the G.I. Joe Collectors Club Review section) or just hit up the direct link below.  The Stinger review is with the “Extra’s” on Page 3.

GeneralsJoes Reviews Marauder “Gun Runners” Series 6!

It’s taken me a long time, but I’ve finally gathered together my thoughts for the sixth series of Marauder “Gun Runners” fantastic weapons and accessories.  From standard assault rifles to a plethora of modular accessories, grips, and scopes, Series 6 of Marauder’s offerings is simply fantastic.

Sideshow September continues – 12″ Zartan guest review!

It took over a week, but I’m finally getting caught up with Mysterious Stranger’s excellent guest reviews, and I’m finishing with a good one… the 12″ Zartan!  I am continuously battling myself with this figure… not sure if I’ll be able to resist forever, and these reviews certainly aren’t helping!

Check out the review at the Sideshow Collectibles review section or via the direct link below.

Sideshow September at GeneralsJoes continues with Dusty and Stalker reviews

I know I missed a couple of days last week, but we’re picking right up today with more guest reviews from Mysterious Stranger!  This time around, we’re catching up a bit with two fantastic new members of the G.I. Joe team.

GeneralsJoes Sideshow September continues … Black Dragon and Ninja Viper!

As I said yesterday, Mysterious Stranger is officially pulling out all of the stops.  Fresh off his great guest review of the 12″ Crimson Guard, we know see the Black Dragon and Ninja Viper 12″ figures!  Being essentially re-decoes of the same figure, Stranger elected to combine both into a single review, but the pictures and words are still great.  Check out my Sideshow Reviews section or hit up the link below.

GeneralsJoes kicks off Sideshow September with 12″ Crimson Guard review

Over the past couple of weeks, Mysterious Stranger has been inundating my mailbox with guest reviews for Sideshow Collectibles products, but I haven’t had a chance to get them all posted yet.  Figured now was as good a time as any to have a “Sideshow Collectibles Review Week”.

With the 12″ Crimson Guard hitting mailboxes just last week, I figured he was a good figure to start this week off with.

I cannot thank Mysterious Stranger enough for the time he’s taken with all of these images and reviews.  It’s not a quick and easy task, so thanks to him for putting all of this work in.  Be sure to stay glued to my Sideshow Collectibles review section, or hit the direct links as they come up:

Keep watching, more Sideshow Collectibles goodness to come this week!
