We had a little bit of a delay this week as my DVR choked and I had to wait until the 11:30pm repeat before watching the episode, grabbing the video, and writing up the review. I think the turnaround time was still pretty damn good. 😉

So, thanks to a glitch in my DVR, I haven’t yet had a chance to watch Episode 8, but plan to in 30 short minutes. I was able to get a nice promo video for Episode 9 captured, though, while I waited! Featuring a totally reimagined Zartan and some fast-moving Dreadnoks, Episode 9 “Dreadnoks Rising” airs next Friday at 5:30pm Eastern.

Keep your eyes on the Renegades SuperSite as well, as I plan on getting up a review and entry for Episode 8 as soon as I am able. May not be until some point tomorrow, where I’ll try to balance NFL Playoffs with G.I. Joe…two of my favorite hobbies!
With a delay likely due to the holiday, the latest two episodes of G.I. Joe: Renegades have now been uploaded to Hubworld.com! Largely regarded as two of the best episodes so far of the season, the Homecoming 2-Parter features action, easter eggs, and a few very cool character cameos.
The best part, to me, about this is seeing the episode in high resolution. I gotta say, it looks really great on the Hub website. Much better than even on my HD TV.

Thanks, as usual, to kennywr22 for passing along the latest intel on upcoming G.I. Joe: Renegades episodes set to air over the next month or two. I’ve been keeping close tabs on both TVGuide.com and MSN TV Listings, but as of last night, nothing was updated. Today, they have been!

Over on the MSN TV Listings, we get titles for the upcoming 12th and 13th episodes of G.I. Joe: Renegades…the titles are Firefight and Whiteout. So far these fall in line with the news from IMDB which revealed nearly all titles for Season One. Renegades returns this Friday! I cannot wait.
So, we’ve hit the 23rd and final issue of G.I. Joe: Origins, which also wraps up the excellent “Mad Monk” storyline. It hits comic shops tomorrow, but you can see the 5-page preview below.
