The Four Horsemen have been doing lots of work lately on their Mythic Legions line, and for a while there hasn’t been a whole lot of news on their four inch Power Lords series, but that looks to have changed.
Not only are they continuing this great looking 1:18 scale reinvention of the fun 80’s property, but they’re also really ramping up the articulation by the looks of it. Any fan of 1:18 scale figures will likely see some serious potential with this line. Personally I’m loving the looks of the Power Armor Adam Power and the various Power Soldier troopers. Some great sculpting and really nice looking articulation is bringing this much more in line with what I’m looking for even at a four inch scale.
They’re currently running a unique kind of pre-order system within their StoreHorsemen site (instead of doing a full blown Kickstarter) but it only runs until October 6th. If you dig the looks of these figures, you’ll want to pre-order, because if they don’t meet their goals, they will NOT be producing the figures. They’ve just hit the halfway point, which is good, but they are not where they want to be as of yet.
Take a look at their offerings at StoreHorsemen.com and grab some pre-orders if you’re even the slightest bit interested. Also take a peek at this great video by Ryan Lord promoting the new line. Good looking stuff here.
POWER LORDS PRE-ORDER HITS THE HALFWAY POINT!!
We’re just past the half-way point for the Power Lords pre-order currently going on on Store Horsemen, and we’re still farther from our goal than we’d like to be at this point.
Please keep in mind, that none of the payments for this Power Lords Store Horsemen pre-order will be collected until the end of the pre-order sale, and if we don’t meet the goal that we need to hit with this pre-order to meet factory production minimums, then the pre-order will be cancelled, and the credit card authorizations will be cancelled so that none of the money will be taken from your account.
To help us promote our midway point of the Power Lords pre-order, the amazing Ryan Lord has created another cool video ad featuring actual action figures that you can pre-order now! Please check it out, share the video to help spread the word, and then go to http://www.StoreHorsemen.com to pre-order your Power Lords figures TODAY!
There isn’t a whole lot of new G.I. Joe product to captivate fans these days, but high end statue maker Prime One Studios has some pretty fantastic looking items coming out, including an amazing statue of Destro, the enemy weapons supplier.
These pieces aren’t cheap, but they’d make for a great conversation piece, and Destro is now available for Pre-Order at Sideshow Collectibles. Check out some of the images below.
What a final day for the latest Marauder Kickstarter! I was already intrigued by this Kickstarter at launch, merely because the Exo-Suit looked so cool, and I was definitely on the hook for a few of the Contract Ops figures.
The K-9 ended up impressing me more than I thought it would, and then when news got out that they would be making Agency-Ops figures as a part of this deal? Yeah, I knew I was on board.
Whether or not we’d even hit Agency Ops was still in question leading to the last day. It was a stretch goal at the $214,000 $172,000 level, which felt a bit out of reach with 24 hours remaining. But everyone came together, and we ended up smashing that goal, the Kickstarter rounding off at nearly $218,000!
Huge congrats to the always great folks at Marauder for another successful Kickstarter, and a big thanks to Tommy over on the Marauder Task Force Facebook Page who whipped up a spectacular graphic outlining what would be contained in the “All In” pledge level (this is essentially everything that got unlocked during the Kickstarter).
This is a great look at more terrific additions to an already impressive product line. Marauder continues to reinvent 1:18 scale military action figures, and I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these and to see what’s still up their sleeves.
This is it, folks! Only twelve short hours remaining on the latest Marauder Task Force Kickstarter and we need less than $6,000 to unlock AGENCY OPS! What are we all waiting for?
We’ve been clamoring for figures in business suits, and this is our shot.
While we’re at it, there’s some awesome new deco Marauder Task Force figures to unlock as well, still lots of great stuff in the wings. Twelve hours, people, let’s finish this thing off strong.
G.I. Joe Convention 2017 reviews continue today! The boxed set is behind us, so now we’re moving on to some of the extra’s. Today we’re looking at the parachute figure Backstop, and both figures from the “Ultimate Enemies” two-pack Dee Jay and COBRA Corrosion.
You can check out the latest reviews at the links below.
The beautiful gentlemen behind the Full Force podcast have graced us with their dulcet tones for another thrilling episode! They take a look back at the latest G.I. Joe news and spend some time with Derryl DePriest himself discussing Micronauts and a debrief on the first inaugural HasCon.
This is a FOUR HOUR marathon that you simply must listen to to believe. Great stuff from The Full Force. Check out the show notes on their Facebook page, or hit up the show itself on their Podbean Page (also embedded below).
I’ve covered the BattleForce: 2000 parts of the Convention Set review, and now it’s time to take a look at the bad guys!
The COBRA B.A.T.s have been a mainstay at retail ever since their debut in 2008. They are fantastic figures, no doubt about that, but their prevalence impacts their desirability, and I don’t feel like there’s anything in these versions that warrants the steep Collectors Club price tag.
