As we eagerly await the second part of the 2-part origin of Snake Eyes tonight, more information has been revealed about an upcoming episode of G.I. Joe: Renegades, including an appearance by someone key to the Snake Eyes origin in the Marvel Comics. According to TVGuide.com, G.I. Joe: Renegades Episode 9 will feature Zartan! Check out the description below:
“The Joes go on a mission to stop Zartan and his motorcycle gang from terrorizing a small town.”
We already knew the title of this episode was “Dreadnoks Rising” but now that we have confirmation of Zartan’s appearance, that makes it all the more exciting. Of course, I really have to start wondering when we’re going to see Destro.
This is a great thing about this new reinvented continuity, you could be in for a surprise every week! Looking forward to it.
Really looking forward to seeing how Zartan is handled in the new series. Thanks for the update.

the only thing that keeps me tuning in….to see how the characters are translated. (or desicrated, in breaker’s case)
This coming from someone who liked the 2009 G.I. Joe movie where every character in that film was desecrated???
Well, nothing is really going to satisfy some people unless the show is done in everyway that they think it should done. The type of fans who think their writers and that they somehow know better than everyone else. Now there’s of course nothing wrong with someone giving both a Pro and Con review of something… hopefully… but some have hated this show even before it began and only stick around to whine about anything they can think of.
It’s hypocrites who complain about this even though this happens a lot with comic book series or a film that becomes an animated series and several things are inaccurate from the comic or film. But of course some fans will look the other way with others.
But where was this nitpicking with Resolute or even with the Sunbow G.I. Joe? A lot characters were desecrated in them… not one character acted as they did in the comic book. But since the animation was somehow more appealing to those people, your not going to hear that at all. Just because the characters looked like their comic book counterparts at the time didn’t mean they acted like them. But we’ve known that Renegades was not going to be the canon G.I. Joe world.
